Located in an alley near the wooden beef hotpot restaurant, this spot is only open in the morning. The owner has been running the shop for over 20 years and is very friendly, quickly preparing the bánh căn. The main offering is quail egg and chicken egg bánh căn, but if you want beef, you can bring your own. The price is affordable, just 20,000 VND per serving, which includes 4 pairs of bánh căn.
Compared to surrounding shops, Bánh Căn Cô Lệ has a smaller space, but both the bánh and dipping sauce are delicious, especially when enjoyed with freshly grated green mango. Although small, the shop is clean, and the flow of customers is managed smoothly.

Bánh căn Cây Bơ là một trong những quán ăn lâu năm tại Đà Lạt còn sử dụng lò than, chuyên các món bánh căn truyền thống trứng gà - vịt và trứng cút. Bánh căn ở đây ngon, 2 người có thể chén no căng với 2 phần bánh, 3 cây chả mà chi phí chưa đến 100.000 VNĐ. Nước chấm rất nhiều hành lá, ai không ăn hành được nhớ dặn chủ quán không bỏ hành nhé!

The bánh căn here offers a wide variety of choices, catering to many different tastes, such as bánh căn with quail eggs, bánh căn with quail eggs and beef, chicken bánh căn, and chicken and beef bánh căn. The prices are quite reasonable, ranging from 45,000 VND to 60,000 VND per serving (5 pairs). The dipping sauces are flavorful, including fish sauce, fermented fish sauce, and a blend with a bit of meatball. Đến Đà Lạt mà muốn ăn bánh căn thì Bánh căn Lệ thật sự là một địa điểm xứng đáng để lui đến. Quán nằm trong hẻm hơi khó tìm nhưng bù lại chất lượng 5 sao.
Quán nhỏ nhưng có 4 lò đúc lớn nên phục vụ nhanh. Những lúc quán đông, trung bình có thể chờ từ 5 phút - 10 phút, giá dao động 35.000 VNĐ - 40.000 VNĐ cho 1 phần bánh căn. Có 3 loại là trứng cút, trứng gà, và bò.
Menu quán rất da dạng topping gồm trứng cút, trứng gà, bò. Ở đây cũng có hai loại nước chấm là mắm nêm và mắm nước đi kèm với xíu mại viên bên trong chén, tiêu chuẩn là 1 viên, ai ăn thêm thì gọi thêm. Vì quán làm bánh liên tục nên lúc nào cũng nóng và vỏ giòn. Chả thì ăn bao nhiêu tính tiền bấy nhiêu. Ngoài ra, quán còn có món tráng miệng là sữa chua phô mai và bánh plan ngon, đồng giá 7.000 VNĐ/ly, nên thử. Có trà gừng nóng miễn phí, đặc biệt sữa đậu nành cũng là một trong những món best seller của quán mà thường hết sớm, tầm 8g sáng là hết sữa.
Quán rất tấp nập khách ra vào, nhưng nhân viên và chủ quán điều phối rất linh hoạt và nhịp nhàng.
