4. Grilled Banana Cake
Bananas are always considered one of the most nutritious foods, and they can be transformed into a variety of delicious dishes. Today, Mytour introduces a simple and easy-to-make grilled banana cake recipe made in a rice cooker.
Ingredients: Eggs, ripe bananas, flour, coconut milk, fresh milk (unsweetened), sugar, salt, butter, small bread, vanilla essence, wine.
Instructions:
- Peel the bananas and slice them into 1 cm thick rounds. Place them in a non-stick pan, making sure the bananas are ripe for the best flavor.
- Add a tablespoon of sugar and 4 tablespoons of wine. Stir well to let the bananas soak up the sugar and wine. When cooking with wine, the alcohol evaporates, making it safe for children and the elderly.
- Pour in fresh milk, coconut milk, 2 vanilla sticks, and half a teaspoon of salt into a bowl. Mix until everything dissolves.
- Tear the bread into small pieces and soak it in the coconut milk mixture for about 30 minutes to allow the bread to swell. Afterward, add the eggs and flour, and mix well until the mixture reaches a thick consistency.
- Add the marinated bananas with wine and sugar to the flour mixture, and stir well. Leave a few banana slices to decorate the top of the cake.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter and mix it in. Butter helps keep the cake moist and adds a wonderful aroma.
- Coat the inside of the rice cooker with a thin layer of butter or cooking oil to make it easier to remove the cake later. Place a layer of marinated bananas at the bottom of the pot for better presentation, then pour in the banana and flour mixture.
- Turn on the cooking mode and wait about 15 minutes. When the rice cooker switches to the keep-warm mode, turn it back to cooking mode. Once the cooker indicates it's done, wait another 30 minutes before removing the cake.

5. Pizza
Pizza is a beloved dish enjoyed by both adults and children alike. What's even more exciting is that you don't need an oven to make it—using a rice cooker, you can prepare a pizza as delicious as one from a pizzeria, perfect for sharing with your family.
Ingredients: Flour, yeast, salt, water, olive oil, sausage, large cheese slices, shredded pork, bell peppers, tomatoes, tomato sauce.
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dough and knead until smooth. To ensure the flour is fine and free of lumps, use a sifter before adding it to the mixture. After kneading, let the dough rest for about 5 minutes, then roll it out with a rolling pin to form a circle with a thickness of about 2mm. Ensure the diameter fits your rice cooker.
- Clean the rice cooker bowl, dry it, then turn on the heat. Place the round dough in the hot bowl to start baking. Bake until the dough turns golden brown, which should take around 7–8 minutes.
- While the crust bakes, slice the pizza toppings (bell peppers, bacon, mushrooms) into bite-sized pieces. Sauté the mushrooms and bell peppers in a little oil for a few minutes.
- Once the bottom of the pizza crust is golden, remove it from the rice cooker. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the crust and top with your prepared ingredients. Drizzle with 1–2 tablespoons of olive oil, then return the pizza to the rice cooker. Flip the crust so the untopped side faces down, and continue baking. After another 7–8 minutes, check to ensure the cheese has melted and the crust is perfectly golden. Your homemade pizza is now ready, just as tasty as any from a restaurant.
