Changing your wifi password regularly will cultivate a habit for managing various accounts you have on the internet, such as bank accounts, gaming accounts, and more. Currently, the game League of Legends (LOL) is very popular. To play LOL, you need to create a Garena account to log into this game system. When you have an account, you also need to change your Garena password regularly to avoid being snooped on by other gamers. Changing your Garena password is very simple, just log in to your Garena account management section and choose the password change function.
When you own a modem from network providers like VNPT, FTP, Viettel, or from brands like Tenda, TP-Link, LinkSYS, or Zyxel modem, most modern modems nowadays integrate the Wireless function, allowing wifi transmission for accessing the network on phones, computers. However, if you don't know how to configure it, you won't be able to use the wifi function on this modem. In some other cases, if you don't know how to set up wifi passwords or change wifi passwords, your wifi will be considered as 'public wifi' because anyone can use it.
Modems themselves always have a web interface for configuration, so you can use your phone to access and configure it; it's not necessary to use a computer or laptop to configure it. If using a phone, you can also use the browser available on the phone like a computer, and the phone needs to be connected to the wifi network you want to change the password for. With wifi network usage, you can completely access the network from any location within its coverage area. And if you don't change your wifi password or set up a wifi password, others can also access your wifi network, which can slow down network speed, increase data usage, and potentially increase network costs. Below, I'll guide you on how to set up a wifi password.

Tip: One thing to note is that you shouldn't let your wifi modem run continuously for too long. If not in use, you can turn off the power to save electricity and help the modem operate better, more durable. It's advisable to change wifi passwords monthly to avoid unauthorized use even though you've set up a wifi password previously because there might be software trying wifi passwords. One way to avoid wifi password hacking is to set a password that is at least 8 characters long, including special characters like *#$!%, combined with uppercase letters. If you're familiar with technology, you can enable MAC address filtering on your wifi modem (most modems like Tenda, TP-Link, LinkSYS, Zyxel have this feature) and avoid broadcasting SSID, to avoid revealing your home wifi network name. Also, if you're using an FTP network's Gpon wifi modem, you can easily change the GPON wifi password just like with other network modems..
There's a method to help those who are lazy to change wifi passwords, which is to hide the wifi or hide the wifi network name. Don't let it appear in other people's search data anymore. How to hide wifi is also quite simple. However, regularly changing wifi passwords is still the safest way, try to find a way to set the most unique, secure wifi password yourself.
Previously, changing Wifi passwords was very difficult for many people because there were too many types such as Tenda, TP-Link, DLink, LINKSYS, ... and network providers like VNPT, FPT, Viettel. Now with Mytour's guidance, changing Wifi passwords according to your preferences has become very simple. Let's get started together.
