Class 1 Vietnamese Semester 2 Exam Papers
Second semester exam for Grade 1 Vietnamese subject is designed based on the 2018 Comprehensive Education Program, following Circular 27 of the Ministry of Education and Training to comprehensively assess students' abilities and qualities.
The exam structure consists of 2 parts: Reading test (10 points) and Writing test (10 points)
I. Second semester exam for Vietnamese subject using the Connect Knowledge to Life book
1. Test number 1:
For test number 1, in the reading section, students will read aloud a passage or poem of about 50 words (7 points), combined with comprehension of the poem 'Jasmine flower,' and practical exercises for correct connections (3 points). In the writing test, students will listen and write the spelling of the first two stanzas of the poem 'The House' (7 points) and complete spelling exercises, writing a sentence about their favorite animal (3 points).

2. Test number 2:
In test number 2, students will read aloud the article 'The Hung Kings' (7 points) combined with comprehension of the article 'Banyan tree,' and practical exercises for correct connections (3 points). For the writing section, students will listen and write a passage of about 30 words from the article 'I go to school' (7 points) and complete exercises such as filling in the blanks, writing a thank-you note when receiving gifts from relatives or friends (3 points).

3. Test number 3:
To practice the Reading section, students perform reading aloud the article 'Lotus Pond' (7 points) combined with silent reading and exercises for the article 'Lady Trieu,' and practical exercises for correct connections (3 points). In the writing test, students will listen and write the spelling of the first 8 verses of the poem 'Greetings' (7 points) and complete exercises such as filling in the blanks, writing a congratulatory message to mom or grandma on March 8th (3 points).

4. Test number 4:
In the Reading test, students practice reading aloud the article 'Two Friends' (7 points) combined with comprehension of the article 'Nha Trang Sea,' and practical exercises for correct connections (3 points). In the Writing test, students will listen and write the first 8 lines of the poem 'The Story of Roots' (7 points) and complete spelling exercises, writing an apology for accidentally dirtying a friend's clothes (3 points).

5. Test number 5:
In test number 5, students will read aloud the article 'Being a Brother' (7 points); comprehend the article 'Banyan tree,' and complete exercises for correct connections (3 points). Additionally, students will listen and write (7 points); practice spelling exercises, writing the names of three tree species (3 points).

II. Second semester exam for Grade 1 Vietnamese subject using the Creative Horizon book:
1. Test number 1:
In test number 1 of the Creative Horizon set, students practice reading aloud the article 'A Gift for Mom' (7 points); comprehend the article 'Sunshine' (3 points), and engage in listening and writing exercises (7 points); practice Vietnamese language exercises (3 points).

2. Test number 2:
In the reading test, students practice reading aloud the article 'Lullaby for Grown-up Babies on Mother's Back' (7 points); comprehend the article 'Uncle Sparrow and the Cotton Ball' (3 points). For the writing section, students engage in listening and writing spelling exercises (7 points); complete Vietnamese language exercises (3 points).

3. Test number 3:
To assess reading skills, students read a passage from the practiced reading exercises (7 points); comprehend the article 'Two Friends' (3 points). For the writing section, students listen and write the spelling of the article 'Dinh Bo Linh' (7 points); practice spelling exercises, correct connections, and write the names of two good friends (3 points).

4. Test number 4:
For test number 4, in the reading section, students draw lots and read aloud a passage (7 points); comprehend the article 'Mrs. Cong Goes to the Market in the Rain' (3 points). In the writing test, students listen and write the spelling of the article 'Mom and the Banana Fish' (7 points); practice spelling exercises, correct connections, and write the name of a classmate (3 points).

III. Second semester exam for Grade 1 Vietnamese subject using The Kite
1. Test number 1:
For test number 1 of The Kite set, students will draw lots and read aloud a practiced reading passage (6 points), comprehend the article 'The Crow and the Pigeon' (4 points). Alongside this, students practice listening and writing spelling (6 points), engage in practical spelling exercises, connect to form complete sentences (4 points).

2. Test number 2:
In this test, students will practice reading aloud (6 points), comprehend the article 'Nai Nho's Friend' (4 points), listen and write (6 points), and finally, engage in practical spelling exercises, punctuation, connect to form complete sentences (4 points).

3. Test number 3:
To assess reading skills, in test number 3, students practice reading aloud the article 'Beautiful but Not Beautiful' (6 points); comprehend the article 'Fairness,' name two types of flowers (4 points). In the Writing test, students listen and write (6 points); engage in practical spelling exercises, connect to form complete sentences, write a sentence appropriate to the content of the picture (4 points).

4. Test number 4:
For test number 4, students will draw lots and read aloud a practiced reading passage (6 points); comprehend the article 'Uncle Frog' (4 points) in the Reading section. In the Writing test, students listen and write spelling (6 points); practice exercises related to rhyme, finding suitable words, and writing a sentence appropriate to the content of the picture (4 points).
