Elon Musk's Neuralink project is currently facing allegations.
Recently, a shocking report surfaced in Business Insider and the New York Post (quoting the Professional Association of Responsible Physicians - PCRM). It revealed that out of a total of 23 monkeys subjected to Elon Musk's Neuralink brain chip experiments from 2017 to 2020, 15 lost their lives.

It is known that Neuralink is a project integrating human brains and AI (artificial intelligence). The focus of this research is to develop a small chip the size of a coin for implantation into the human brain. This type of chip is made from ultra-fine mesh fibers with attached electrodes to detect neurons. These mesh fibers are then inserted into the human brain through a super-miniature robot.
During operation, electrodes in the mesh fibers receive information from the brain and transmit it to a small chip placed behind the ear. This chip continues to connect to another device worn on the body. This device can be configured through a smartphone application.
To conduct experiments on humans, Neuralink first used monkeys as experimental subjects for many years. According to PCRM's report, many monkeys have died in Neuralink's experiments. Moreover, some suffered extreme agony before death. PCRM believes these experiments are non-humanitarian and involve up to 9 violations of animal welfare laws. Accordingly, PCRM filed a complaint with the US Department of Agriculture on February 10 and demanded that Neuralink cease experiments immediately.
Currently, PCRM's complaint is under review by US regulatory agencies.
