4. Robin Hill Cable Car Tourist Area
A renowned attraction in Da Lat, the Robin Hill Cable Car has been a popular destination for a long time due to its modern cable car system. Visiting Da Lat without experiencing the Robin Hill cable car is truly a missed opportunity. Built by the Swiss and Austrian company Doppelmayr, the cable car system handles the design, manufacturing, and installation. Commenced on February 3, 2002, completed on January 24, 2003, and opened to the public on February 1, 2003. This 2,267m cable car section consists of 10 support towers, 50 cabins spaced 120m apart, moving at a speed of 5m/s.
The cable car connects from the Phung Hoang peak, near the entrance of Truc Lam Zen Monastery, to Robin Hill and takes 12 minutes to complete the journey.
