2017 National High School Graduation Exam Schedule
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, to be recognized as graduating from high school, high school students must take 4 separate exams, including 3 independent exams: Mathematics, Literature, Foreign Language, and 1 exam chosen by the candidate from the 2 combination exams. For students in specialized high schools, they must take 3 separate exams, including 2 independent exams: Mathematics, Literature, and 1 exam chosen by the candidate from the 2 combination exams.
Candidates have the right to take both combination exams, then choose the higher score to be considered for high school graduation recognition. For students in specialized high schools aiming for university admission, they can choose to take the Foreign Language exam, and the score from this exam will be used for university admission, not for high school graduation recognition.
To be considered for university admission, candidates who have graduated from high school must take the independent exams, combination exams, or component subjects of the combination exams, appropriate to the combination of exams and subjects required for admission to the field or group of fields as specified by the university or college.
The Ministry of Education and Training stipulates, the registration period for exams is from April 1, 2017, to April 20, 2017.
