1. House orientation according to Eight Mansions
According to Feng Shui, people are divided into two age groups: East Four Mansions and West Four Mansions.
Those belonging to the East Four Mansions group include the Khon, Ly, Chan, and Ton Palaces. Corresponding to this group are favorable directions such as South, North, East, and Southwest.
Those belonging to the West Four Mansions group include the Can, Khon, Can, and Doai Palaces. Corresponding to this group are favorable directions such as Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, and West.
These Palaces can be found based on your year of birth. Finding these Palaces will result in different favorable directions for each individual. Note that individuals born in the same year but of different genders will have different Palaces.
Each person has four favorable and four unfavorable directions. The unfavorable directions for each person are the favorable directions of the opposite Four Mansions group. For example, if your age falls under the West Four Mansions group, the unfavorable directions are South, North, East, and Southwest.
The eight directions correspond to the favorable and unfavorable directions divided according to Eight Mansions.
2. How to find the Palace, suitable house orientation according to Feng Shui:
We will designate the Palaces in order from 1 to 9, corresponding to Khon(1), Can(2), Chan(3), Ton(4), Khon and Can(5), Can(6), Ly(7), Can(8), and Doai(9).
For those in the East Four Mansions group, including the Chan, Ton, Ly, and Khon Palaces.
For those in the West Four Mansions group, including the Can, Doai, Khon, and Can Palaces.
We will find the Palace as follows:
For individuals born in the year 19xx, add the last two digits of the birth year together to get a result, denoted as Y (where Y is a number less than or equal to 9). The number we need to find is 10-Y if you are male and 5+Y if you are female.
For individuals born in the year 20xx, add the last two digits of the birth year together to get a result, denoted as Y (where Y is a number less than or equal to 9). The number we need to find is 9-Y if you are male and 6+Y if you are female.
If the Y number we find is greater than 9, continue to add those two numbers together.
With the final result obtained as 5, if you are male, you belong to the Khon Palace, and if you are female, you belong to the Can Palace. Both of these Palaces belong to the West Four Mansions.
For example: You were born in 1993, Y=9+3=12, continuing to add up, we get the number 3.
If you are male, the number you need to find is 10-3=7, corresponding to this number, you belong to the Ly Palace, of the East Four Mansions, so you should choose directions South, North, East, and Southwest.
If you are female, the number you need to find is 5+3=8, corresponding to this number, you belong to the Can Palace, of the West Four Mansions, so you should choose directions Northwest, Southeast, Northeast, and West.
3. Is house orientation the sole factor determining the fate of a house?
According to Feng Shui, house orientation is not the sole factor but sufficient to create a harmonious house. It only reflects the relationship, interaction with the geomagnetic field without linking to other natural environments.
In addition to house orientation, other factors such as Dragon's Breath, Bright Housing, and Mysterious Space also play a decisive role. Specifically as follows:
-Dragon's Breath: We simply consider the environmental landscape, the scenery surrounding the house. According to ancient beliefs, if the scenery around the house is bright and open in front, higher at the back, higher on the right, shorter on the left, with rivers, streams, or canals on the left, stretching around the land.
-Bright Housing: Consider the overall structure, the physical form of the house. Regarding the terrain of the land, it is relatively similar to Dragon's Breath, meaning flat in front, higher at the back, relatively symmetrical on the right and left, creating a hugging posture for the house. The land like this can gather energy, helping homeowners embrace good luck and ward off evil.
-Mysterious Space: Simply understood as considering the interaction from the universe, whether the house's fate is strong or weak. If this interaction force is strong, the fortune will rise, the house will be prosperous, the homeowner will have good health, and wealth.
