1. Verify Notification Permissions
Step 1: To ensure that sound notifications are fully enabled both in the app and phone settings, open the app on your device. Then, tap on the profile icon at the bottom of the app's navigation bar. Next, look at the top right corner of the screen, and you'll see the Settings icon, tap on it.

Step 2: Here, you will find all the settings for your account and the app on your phone. What you need to do next is tap on the Notifications section. Scroll down the screen to find the Play sound for new messages in Zalo option, and turn on the switch.

Step 3: Lastly, check in the system settings to see if the app is allowed to notify through sound. Scroll up from the notification settings and choose Manage notifications > toggle the switch under Allow sound. That's it!

2. Reboot Your Phone
During usage, running multiple apps simultaneously may lead to conflicts affecting Zalo app notifications. To fix this, try restarting your phone. This will clear ongoing tasks and restart the phone from scratch, addressing this issue.

3. Uninstall and Reinstall the App
Another reason for this issue could be prolonged app usage, causing cached data to interfere with each other and resulting in notification errors. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I'll provide the app download link below for your convenience.

With the above methods, we hope you have successfully resolved this issue. If you encounter any difficulties during the process, please leave a comment below. Also, feel free to share this post with those who might need it.
