Sea tourism always exerts a strong allure on both domestic and international travelers. Besides renowned names like Nha Trang, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Ha Long... a host of pristine islands are gradually claiming a special place on the travel map of the youth.
Cù Lao Câu (Bình Thuận)
The small island of Cù Lao Câu, located in Tuy Phong district, only about 10 km from the mainland, is enveloped in emerald blue sea waters and surrounded by giant rock formations in various captivating shapes.
The best time to explore Cù Lao Câu is from April to August, during the calm southerly sea breeze. After the full moon in August until the 3rd lunar month is the season of rough seas, when strong winds and large waves make travel difficult.
Cù Lao Câu has a relatively small area, making it easy for you to explore all the interesting spots here such as Coral Reef, Ba Hòn Cave, Swallow Cave, and Nam Hải Shrine. There are no accommodations on the island, so if you plan to stay overnight, you'll need to bring a tent and sleeping bag.

Bình Hưng (Khánh Hoà)
Located at the foot of the mountain pass along the Bình Tiên – Vĩnh Hy coastal route, just about a kilometer from the mainland, the unique feature of Bình Hưng Island is the sea surrounding its outer perimeter, while inside are rocky caves and freshwater lagoons. The sea around Bình Hưng is so clear that you can see schools of fish swimming beneath the surface.
For ages, the island along with Bình Tiên, Bình Lập, and Bình Ba has been dubbed the famous 'Four Bình', earning the title of the 'Maldives of Vietnam'.
Currently, exploring Bình Hưng Island has become increasingly convenient with a variety of tour packages being offered. When you visit the island, you can explore and experience places like Bình Tiên Beach, Kinh Beach, Freshwater Bay, Egg Rock Beach, Cashew Tree Beach, and Chút Lighthouse.

Hòn Khô (Bình Định)
Cù lao Hòn Khô is one of 32 islands near the coast of Bình Định province, about 16 km from the center of Quy Nhơn city. The striking feature of this island is its crystal clear water over long stretches of white sandy beaches, interspersed with unique rock formations. Alongside that are the picturesque wooden bridges running along the coastline and rocky outcrops, not only serving as romantic seaside spots but also as stunning photo backdrops, attracting the younger crowd.
The ideal time to visit Hòn Khô is from March to September. You can enjoy peaceful moments here, swimming, taking Instagram-worthy photos, snorkeling to admire coral reefs underwater, or conquering the rocky mountain ranges on the island... and savoring delicious, flavorful seafood.

Phú Quý (Bình Thuận)
Located about 120 km from the mainland, Phú Quý Island boasts serene landscapes, clear blue waters, and rare pristine beauty. In recent years, Phú Quý has gradually become a favorite destination for travel enthusiasts. Numerous beautiful photo sets shared on social media have helped promote this beautiful island.
Phú Quý offers plenty of experiences for you to enjoy. The lighthouse atop Cấm Mountain is the largest of its kind in Vietnam. Climbing nearly 120 stone steps, you can feast your eyes on the panoramic view of the island from above. Additionally, notable beautiful check-in spots include Small Beach, Linh Sơn Pagoda, Tranh Island, Doi Thầy Cape, Triều Dương Bay, and Phong Điện Cave.
Typically, the ideal time to visit Phú Quý Island is from December to June when the weather is stable, the sea is calm, the sky is clear, and the air is cool. A 4-5 day trip will provide enough time for you to explore and experience all the beauty of the island.
