The stunningly beautiful islands of Malaysia always attract countless tourists from all over the globe every summer.
1. Langkawi Island
When it comes to beach paradises in Malaysia, Langkawi is definitely the first destination that comes to mind – a place that consistently ranks among the most romantic islands on the planet.
Langkawi is situated in northern Malaysia, about a 1-hour flight from the capital city of Kuala Lumpur. In addition to its enchanting beaches, Langkawi also attracts crowds with bustling shopping areas. What's more, all goods here are tax-free.

Some ideal spots on Tioman:
Marine Park: located within the coral reef conservation area and a 15-minute walk from Tekek jetty. Visitors can explore the unique marine ecosystem here.
Salang: this is a quaint village nestled in the northern part of Tioman Island. Besides the beach, there are small markets selling souvenirs reflecting the Malaysian culture at reasonable prices.
Berjaya Tioman Resort Malaysia: the only internationally accredited resort on Tioman. 3. Perhentian Island
Located in the state of Terengganu, northeastern Malaysia, Perhentian Island is considered one of the most attractive tourist destinations due to its stunning natural landscapes and exciting recreational activities.
Perhentian consists of two main islands, Perhentian Besar (Big Perhentian) and Perhentian Kecil (Small Perhentian). While Besar caters mainly to tourists seeking luxury facilities and services, Kecil attracts a large number of budget travelers.
4. Pangkor Island
Thanks to its pristine and captivating nature, Pangkor Island continues to attract numerous international tourists. Pangkor features many secluded turquoise beaches and well-preserved tropical forests. The two most famous islands here are Pasir Bogak and Teluk Nipah. While Pasir Bogak is quite modern with resorts scattered everywhere, Teluk Nipah still retains its original rustic charm.
Visitors to Pangkor can engage in activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and surfing during the day. As night falls, tourists can visit fishing villages to savor delicious local specialties.
