As an emblem of Osaka, the castle began construction in 1583 by the Toyotomi clan. Unfortunately, it suffered partial destruction due to war by 1665. It wasn't until 1931 that the structure underwent reconstruction, using reinforced concrete to allow visitors to explore its historical significance. While its autumn allure may not rival the cherry blossoms of spring, the castle takes on a mesmerizing hue as fall sets in, enveloping it in a golden-red velvet. Its ancient stone walls exude a captivating autumnal ambiance. The nearest station is Tanamachi 4, a 10-minute walk from Osaka Park, home to this venerable fortress. Access is convenient via subway or JR trains when in downtown Osaka.

Midosuji Boulevard
Besides the vibrant red maple forests, the golden hues of ginkgo trees add a special charm to Osaka in autumn. Midosuji Boulevard is a must-visit, stretching 4 km long and 44 m wide, running from north to south, connecting Osaka's two major entertainment hubs, Umeda and Namba. Strolling beneath the canopy of trees with the crisp air and gently falling leaves creates a romantic scene. Along the sides of the boulevard are bustling shopping districts. Combining sightseeing, shopping, and enjoying Japanese cuisine makes for a delightful experience here.

Kanshinji Temple
Located in Minami-Kawachi area, southwest of Osaka, Kanshinji Temple is an ancient temple. You can take the Nankai Koya train from Namba station to Kawachinagano, then a Nankai bus to the temple, about 15 minutes away. Originally built in 701, the temple has been meticulously preserved and renovated. With its ancient architecture nestled on gentle slopes, it captivates visitors amidst the red and gold hues of autumn. Stepping into the world of Buddhism here brings a sense of tranquility and serenity. In 2014, the temple was voted one of the most attractive autumn destinations in Japan. Entrance fee is 300 yen (about 60,000 VND).
