Day 1: Hanoi – Đà Bắc
7:00 AM: Departure
There are two routes from Hanoi to this tourist area:
Route 1: Take national highway 6, passing through Hoa Binh City, Vồ Market, then ask for directions to Đà Bắc town. Currently, the road to the town is under construction, so you should detour through Rãnh hamlet to Đà Bắc town, Ké hamlet, Hiền Lương commune.
Route 2: From Thăng Long Avenue, head straight to Đá Chông, Hợp Thịnh ferry, Đà Bắc town. The stretch from Chẹ to Hợp Thịnh is about 20 km long, where you can take a break, take photos amidst newly planted rice fields.

12:00 PM: Lunch at Ké hamlet
Ké hamlet is the first stop on the Đà Bắc adventure journey. The specialty here is crab soup with sour starfruit. You can rent a room for lunch at a homestay before continuing.
2:00 PM: Move to Đà Bắc community tourism area
The road from Ké hamlet to the tourism area is about 30 km long.
3:00 PM: Check-in and relax
Accommodation options here mainly consist of traditional Mường homestays, providing comfortable facilities for guests. The rental price per night is approximately 80,000 Vietnamese Dong per person.
Note: It is advisable to bring mobile internet devices as this area does not have internet connectivity yet.
4:00 PM: Explore Đà Bắc
Activities for relaxation and entertainment during the stay include cycling, bamboo rafting, visiting fish cages, etc. The rental price for a bicycle or bamboo rafting session is 50,000 Vietnamese Dong per session, and 200,000 Vietnamese Dong for a stream boat ride.
6:30 PM: Dinner

The specialty of Hòa Bình region is grilled fish from the Đà River. However, to avoid waiting long, it's recommended to pre-order from the host.
After dinner, the Mường people often organize 'sạp' dance and 'xòe' dance activities upon request from guests. You can pre-book these services for 300,000 Vietnamese Dong or meet local residents to learn more about the local culture.
Day 2: Đà Bắc – Hà Nội
7:00 AM: Morning walk
Early morning is the perfect time for a gentle stroll and to enjoy the fresh air.
8:00 AM: Breakfast
Breakfast here costs approximately 20,000 – 40,000 Vietnamese Dong per serving, prepared by the host. The menu includes porridge, steamed rice rolls or pho, and fruit for dessert.
9:00 AM: End of the journey
After leaving Đà Bắc, you can return to Hà Nội or rent a boat to visit Thung Nai, Mai Châu. The rental price is around 300,000 – 500,000 Vietnamese Dong per trip.
