4D4N Connected Tour: Explore the Marvels of Mang Den and Quy Nhon
Kon Tum Wooden Church
The Kon Tum Wooden Church, with a history spanning over 100 years, stands as a unique architectural masterpiece built by French priest Giuse Decrouille from 1913 to 1918. Enduring years of weather and war, the wooden church remains remarkably intact.

Officially named the Kon Tum Cathedral, this wooden church is constructed entirely from red cajuput wood, a type of hardwood abundant in the Central Highlands of the past. Skilled artisans from Binh Dinh and Quang Ngai crafted this remarkable structure.
The church walls, floors, and partitions are constructed using a mixture of earth and straw, avoiding the use of concrete, steel reinforcement, or lime. Wooden panels are firmly joined together entirely using bamboo nails.

The wooden church follows the architectural styles of Roman and the Ba Na people's stilt houses. Hence, this structure perfectly blends Western and indigenous cultures of the ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands.

Our Lady of Mang Den
The 4D4N Combo Tour also takes visitors to the statue of Our Lady of Fatima (or the One-Armed Mother). This statue replicates the Our Lady of Fatima statue presented by Father Toma Le Thanh Anh.
This statue was airlifted to Mang Den by a priest using a helicopter. Erected on a simple pedestal in the middle of 1971, the statue suffered some damage during the 1974 Vietnam War events, leading to the abandonment of the Mang Den outpost.

The Our Lady of Mang Den statue, made of reinforced concrete, stands about 1 meter tall, placed on a cement pedestal connected to natural rocks. The statue's body reflects the form of Our Lady of Fatima, while the head is reconstructed to resemble a woman of the Central Highlands.

The restored arm maintains its amputated appearance, amidst the mountainous scenery surrounded by vibrant flowers and stone benches, exuding a sacred ambiance.

Since then, pilgrims from distant places, including many Christian believers, have come to contemplate, worship, and seek blessings for luck, fortune, and children.

Pa Sy Waterfall
Pa Sy Waterfall is one of the scenic wonders of the Kon Tum mountains. The ecological tourism area of Pa Sy Waterfall has been open for tourism since 2014, preserving its pristine beauty and attracting adventure enthusiasts and explorers.

Situated near Kon Tu Rang village of the Mơ Nam ethnic group, Pa Sy sits at an altitude of 1,500 meters, formed by the confluence of the three largest streams in Mang Den. Visitors not only enjoy the natural landscape but also have the opportunity to explore the culture of the Mơ Nam people, an ethnic minority in this region.

Đắk Ke Lake

Đắk Ke Lake, originally named Toong Rơ Poong, spans approximately 3 hectares. The pristine space features a crystal-clear lake surrounded by tall mountains and lush forests of the Kon Tum Highlands. The Đắk Ke Lake tourist area offers a variety of entertainment services for visitors on the 4D4N itinerary, including boat rowing, water cycling, camping, and more.

Biển Hồ (Sea Lake)
Biển Hồ, also known as Ea Nueng or T’nưng Lake, is a freshwater lake located 7km from Pleiku city, at an altitude of approximately 800m above sea level. The lake consists of two interconnected reservoirs, covering nearly 300 hectares amidst the highland mountains.

A strip of land extends into the heart of the lake, allowing tourists to walk and observe the panoramic view of Biển Hồ. The road leading to Biển Hồ is surrounded by lush green pine trees, and at the end, a three-tiered staircase invites visitors to admire the picturesque Biển Hồ.

Each season brings a unique charm to Biển Hồ. During the dry season, it reveals fertile land strips. In the rainy season, water levels rise, creating waves reminiscent of the sea. As Tet approaches and spring arrives, the weather turns cool, the water surface becomes clear, and blooming flowers add a festive atmosphere.

Kỳ Co
Kỳ Co is situated 20km from the center of Quy Nhơn. It forms a crescent shape, nestled between a mountain and the sea. The water at Kỳ Co beach is shallow, displaying a clear emerald green hue. Long, soft, white sandy beaches adorned with coconut palms create an enchanting tropical seascape.

In Kỳ Co, there are rock formations that create natural stone slots. As the tide rises and falls, these slots transform into pools, providing ample space for swimmers. These 'pools' can accommodate 4-5 people.

At sunrise, Kỳ Co resembles a mirror reflecting the sky, with fishermen's boats gently swaying on the sea. You can take a boat to Bãi Dứa to admire beautiful coral reefs, or rent a boat or canoe to explore fishing spots.

Eo Gió (Wind Strait)
Eo Gió is not far from Kỳ Co. The name 'Eo Gió' (Wind Strait) originates from the area's distinctive shape. When viewed from above, it reveals a small strait sheltered by two mountain ranges, rivaling any coastal area worldwide in beauty.

Visitors to Eo Gió must not miss the coastal mountain trail, offering views of waves crashing against the rocky shore. And here, indulge in the deliciously fresh seafood from the South Central Coast.

Linh Phong Zen Monastery
Linh Phong Pagoda, colloquially known as Ông Núi Pagoda, stands as a venerable ancient temple. Today, within the Nguyen Dynasty's woodblock archives – a UNESCO World Documentary Heritage, numerous inscriptions about this temple are preserved.

Established by Zen Master Lê Ban, Linh Phong Pagoda, originally named Dũng Tuyền, gradually evolved into a larger structure over time. Upon learning about the enlightened monk Lê Ban, King Nguyễn Phúc Chu bestowed the honorific title Tịnh Giác Thiện Trì Đại Lão Zen Master and renamed the temple Linh Phong Zen Monastery.

Not only the Nguyen kings but also many nobles, captivated by the scenic beauty, frequently visited the pagoda. Over its 300-year existence, Linh Phong Pagoda has become a beloved spiritual destination, attracting thousands of Buddhists, devotees, and nature enthusiasts on pilgrimage each year.
