One of the questions perplexing LPL fans will be answered by SofM and TheShy in the 'battle of the gods'.
Will EDward Gaming maintain their form?
2021 was a year of great success for EDG in particular and LPL as a whole. However, EDG's achievements were lauded even more because their journey was challenging from the group stage onwards. Not to mention, EDG was the sole representative of LPL remaining in the Semi-finals of the 2021 Worlds. And they defeated DWG KIA - the team considered the strongest contender for the 2021 Worlds championship at the time.
But the question now is: Will EDG maintain their form in the upcoming 2022 season or will they follow the 'footsteps' of their 'predecessors' Invictus Gaming and FunPlus Phoenix? However, with EDG being a formidable collective, competing with each other for a long time, many LPL fans still believe that they will be different from IG and FPX in the past. Of course, everything will only be known for sure when the Spring Split officially begins.

Will LNG Esports make progress or not?
LNG's weaknesses were exposed at Worlds 2021: lack of true leadership during games, unreliable frontline fighters, and their mid lane position - Icon's performance was subpar. To address this, 'Taurus of Chao' recruited Doinb - former mid laner of FPX to replace Icon. And it's clear to see, based on Doinb's past performances, he is a perfect fit.
However, it seems that up to now, Doinb and LNG haven't found common ground. At the recent Demacia Cup 2021, LNG fielded their strongest lineup and made almost no changes throughout the tournament. Yet, they still failed to reach the finals. However, Demacia Cup is just a warm-up tournament and it's very possible that in the main event, LNG will show a different side, as they did in the LPL regional qualifiers.

Can Tian return to the peak?
Tian was the FMVP in the 2019 Worlds finals and that could be seen as the brightest spot in his career. Since Worlds 2019, not only Tian but the entire FPX team has declined. However, Tian has received the most criticism. Additionally, he has been injured and along with Doinb, has been targeted by LPL fans for their performance in Iceland.
Currently, Tian has joined the new team Top Esports and he was also the FMVP in the Demacia Cup 2021 finals. However, due to the low level of competition, this warm-up tournament has yet to prove that Tian has returned to his 2019 form. Nevertheless, with the recent championship, many fans hope that Tian will alleviate the pressure and return to his peak performance.

Can Royal Never Give Up soar at Worlds?
For RNG, winning the domestic championship or even MSI is not unfamiliar. What RNG's 'all-Chinese roster' needs is the Worlds trophy - something that has eluded them since the days of the legendary Uzi and remains the ultimate goal for players like Xiaohu, GALA, and Ming.
In the 2022 season, RNG parted ways with Cryin - seen as their weak link - and welcomed Bin back to the top lane, with Xiaohu returning to the mid lane. Whether this change will be effective remains to be seen, but RNG will undoubtedly aim for the highest goal: the Worlds championship after many past disappointments.

How is Uzi's form?
One of the most anticipated things for Chinese LoL fans in the upcoming LPL Summer 2022 is Uzi's return after a long hiatus due to injury. Thus, in the upcoming LPL 2022, viewers will witness the presence of three 'legends' simultaneously: Uzi, TheShy, and SofM.
Even more intriguingly, in the opening week, in his very first match, Uzi will face off against the other two 'legends' when Bilibili Gaming meets Weibo Gaming. And perhaps, the question of how Uzi's form will be in this comeback will be answered by SofM and TheShy themselves.
