1. Set Vietnamese language for your smartphone
Setting the smartphone language to Vietnamese will make it easier for seniors to use. This is also crucial for imported or international smartphones as users will find it easier to operate phone modes and features.
Below is a guide to setting Vietnamese language for 2 popular smartphone lines: iOS and Android
- For Android phones: Open Settings > select General management > choose Language and input > select Language > select Add language > find and choose Vietnamese (Vietnam) > select Edit > select and drag Vietnamese (Vietnam) up > finally press Back to confirm the setup
For iPhones: Open Settings > select General > choose Language & Region > select iPhone Language > select Vietnamese > finally choose Change to Vietnamese to complete the setup
- For Android smartphones: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Vision > Magnification gestures. Toggle the switch to turn it on.
Simplify interface to make screen display cleaner, reducing unnecessary apps and features. This enhances usability, especially for seniors.
Currently, iPhone devices do not support this setting change.
- For Android: Open Settings > Home screen & lock screen & wait screen > Home screen > Simple mode > Apply.
