*****
Day 1: Bangkok
Our group took an early flight to arrive around noon, dedicating the entire day to explore Bangkok.
Upon landing at BKK airport, locate the Klook counter on Level B, RC6, next to the Airport Rail-Link Station to collect your 4G SIM card (alternatively available at DMK airport or Siam Center). Alongside the SIM card, our group also arranged a 4G WiFi device for convenient use, delivered free to your doorstep in Vietnam.
Before leaving the airport, ensure you have your BTS Skytrain Rabbit Card (exchanged at the Klook counter at BKK airport, next to the SIM card counter). This card makes it easy for you to explore Thailand using the widely known BTS public transportation in Bangkok, avoiding the congested traffic.
Thailand is renowned for its temples, and our first stop for exploration was Wat Benchamabophit. This temple stands out for its impressive architecture, also known as the Marble Temple due to its unique blend of European church architecture with stained glass windows. The attraction includes a special collection of bronze Buddha statues.
Wat Benchamabophit, Bangkok, is one of Thailand's temples with stunning and impressive architecture.
If time allows, you can also visit other temples such as Wat Saket, Wat Arun, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Traimit, and more.
Aside from temples, Thailand is famous for the martial art of Muay Thai. If you're in Thailand, don't miss the chance to watch thrilling Muay Thai matches or performances. The show we attended was Muay Thai Live: The Legend Lives. In 90 minutes, you'll witness various eras of Muay Thai and legendary figures. At the end of the performance, enjoy a live match featuring fighters from Bangkok's renowned Muay Thai clubs.
Don't miss the captivating Muay Thai performances!
Spend your evening indulging in Thai cuisine, and the perfect place to do so is China Town. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the lively atmosphere and countless tempting dishes at affordable prices along the streets of China Town.
Day 2: Hua Hin
Away from the bustling streets of Bangkok, Hua Hin, a seaside resort city, is an ideal destination for a relaxing day! It's about a 3-hour drive from Bangkok, making it easily accessible by various means of transportation. For convenience, our group opted for Klook's Customizable Hua Hin Discovery Tour from Bangkok, a 12-hour tour with a flexible itinerary.
With a price of approximately 3.1 million VND for a 10-seater car, including a driver, it's incredibly affordable. No worries about directions; the driver ensures a safe journey, and the comfortable air-conditioned car allows you to relax while eagerly awaiting the exciting attractions!
Santorini Park is the magical check-in point for you!
Some popular spots in Hua Hin include Venezia with its European-style wonders in Thailand, Santorini Park with its marvelous Mediterranean design, and the traditional Hua Hin railway station. Additionally, you can explore other places like Monsoon Valley vineyard, Hua Hin Artist Village, Plearn Wan vintage village, or Sam Roi Yod National Park.
Experience the breathtaking scenery at Sam Roi Yod National Park.
Our group chose to visit Sam Roi Yod National Park for its stunning landscapes. Two must-visit spots are Phraya Nakon Cave (prepare for a considerable hike) and Bueng Bua Lake, known as the hidden gem of Hua Hin!
Pro tip: To make the most of the Customizable Hua Hin Discovery Tour from Bangkok by Klook, plan your itinerary in advance using Google Maps to estimate time and distance. Seek assistance from the Guide and Driver to adjust it accordingly.
Unique Maeklong Railway Market of Thailand.
Day 3: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market – Maeklong Railway Market
Beyond its famous temples, Thailand also captivates with its markets. In addition to floating markets like Amphawa and Damnoen Saduak, there's the unique Maeklong Railway Market.
Embark on the very train, journeying from BanLaem station to Maeklong market.
For a more comfortable experience, you can hire a private car for sightseeing, like our group did. The driver takes you to BanLaem station, where you board the train to Maeklong (with the guide accompanying you). Meanwhile, the driver heads to the market, ready and waiting. You'll explore the market until the driver takes you to the next destination, the floating market.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is an excellent destination to experience Thai culture and cuisine.
Pro tip: You can also choose a group tour of Thai floating markets with transportation to visit multiple locations, saving time on navigation and being cost-effective.
Day 4: Phuket
Early in the morning, our group took a flight to Phuket (pre-booked hotel-to-BKK-airport transfer and airport-to-Phuket-city transfer on Klook for convenient and worry-free transportation, considering Thailand's traffic).
After days of constant movement, take some time to unwind with a Thai massage. Our chosen spot is Oasis Spa (located at Turquoise Cove Spa, Kamala). The service is excellent, the staff is attentive, gentle, and charming (!).
Recharge yourself with a soothing massage at Oasis Spa.
Thailand is renowned for its traditional arts and dance. Siam Niramit is the perfect show to witness this, available in both Bangkok and Phuket. The performance takes you through the ages and various Thai ethnicities, exploring their belief in karma. The art and technology of light, music, and water in the show will undoubtedly mesmerize you!
Siam Niramit is a renowned performance executed by professional dancers and advanced technology.
Pro tip: Arrive earlier than the showtime to catch additional performances featuring elephants, Muay Thai fighters, explore the grounds with a museum, Ethnic Village, and indulge in a buffet of exquisite Thai cuisine!
Day 5: Koh Phi Phi
Phuket, a coastal city, offers more than just stunning beaches. A short distance away lies the enchanting Koh Phi Phi islands with crystal-clear waters and playful swimming fish!
To travel from Phuket to Koh Phi Phi, our group opted for the Jet Cruiser Ferry:
- Departure from Phuket Rassada Pier: 8:30 AM/1:30 PM
- Arrival at Phi Phi Laemtong Pier (Northern beach pier): 10:30 AM/3:30 PM
- Arrival at Phi Phi Tonsai Pier (main pier): 11:30 AM/4:40 PM
- Depending on your hotel location, choose the pier that suits you best.
The evening scenery is truly stunning on Koh Phi Phi's beaches.
Upon arriving at the island around noon, our group took a leisurely tour of the island's highlights with Private Long Tail Boat Service. With options for 4 or 6 hours (including dining), you'll explore Koh Phi Phi's famous spots according to your desired schedule! From Bamboo Island or Maya Bay to the smaller islands around Koh Phi Phi.
The island paradise of Koh Phi Phi – an ideal retreat!
Another advantage of the long-tail boat is avoiding tourist crowds, and you'll be picked up and dropped off at your hotel if it's in the Ton Sai Bay area. The boat also comes equipped with snorkeling gear and a safety guide, so you don't have to worry about a thing!
That evening, our group explored the island, enjoyed local cuisine, and attended beachfront parties with lively music and spectacular fire dance performances.
Day 6: Koh Phi Phi – Phuket
One of the best spots to witness the sunrise and panoramic views of Koh Phi Phi is the View Point – situated at an elevation of over 183m. From this elevated location, you can admire the breathtaking panorama of the paradise archipelago. Sunrise (or sunset) at Phi Phi Island viewed from the View Point is incredibly impressive with its scenic blend of mountains, water, and vivid skies!
Koh Phi Phi's View Point – an ideal spot for panoramic views, sunrise, and sunset!
To reach the View Point summit (there are 2 peaks), you'll hike for about 20-30 minutes and a small entrance fee applies.
To travel from Koh Phi Phi to Phuket, our group also opted for the Jet Cruiser Ferry:

- Departure from Phi Phi Tonsai: 9:00 AM/2:30 PM
