Once a disappointment for travelers when forced to close after the devastating earthquake on August 8th last year, now you have the opportunity to explore the 'heaven on earth,' Cuu Trai Cau, as it has officially reopened.
6N5D China Tour: Chengdu – Cuu Trai Cau Flight by Vietnam Airlines for only 15,499,000 VND
Cuu Trai Cau means 'nine Tibetan villages.' The name originates from the fact that this scenic area is within the jurisdiction of the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Aba in northern Sichuan Province, China. This region has been the habitat of the Tibetan and Qiang ethnic groups for centuries.

Currently, seven out of nine villages still have residents who are Tibetan. Some villages that tourists can easily access, such as Heye, Shuzheng, and Zechawa, are located along the main tourist route. Here, visitors can purchase local handicrafts, souvenirs, and snacks.

Cuu Trai Cau has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1992 and a World Biosphere Reserve in 1997. Additionally, it is classified as an AAAA (highest criteria) scenic spot by the China National Tourism Administration. The area consists of three valleys arranged in a Y-shape. Nac Nhac Cau and Nac Tru Oa Cau are two valleys running from the south meeting at the center of the area, which is also the starting point of Main Autumn Cau running northward.

Blessed with the name 'heaven on earth,' this place entices visitors year-round with its four distinct seasons. In spring, it is blanketed with countless vibrant hues of flora. Summer presents a clear blue sky reflecting on the tranquil mirror-like lakes, revealing the depths and numerous tiered waterfalls.

Autumn paints a magnificent masterpiece with its red and golden carpet of leaves, resembling an exquisite oil painting. Every corner is adorned with breathtaking beauty akin to a canvas come to life. Winter, on the other hand, draws admirers with its pristine white snow juxtaposed against the towering limestone formations and the ethereal wispy clouds.

Following the earthquake, Cuu Trai Cau National Park reopened its gates to visitors on March 8th. However, guests are only allowed to explore a portion of the tourist area, rather than the entire park as before. The permitted attractions include Nac Nhat Lang Waterfall, Truong Hai Lake, Mirror Lake, Five-Color Lake, and Main Autumn Lake.

Additionally, the Chinese government mandates that visitors must register in groups and have travel insurance. Solo travelers are prohibited from entering the park for safety reasons, and authorities only permit 2,000 visitors per day to ensure safety.

With this 6N5D China tour, besides exploring Cuu Trai Cau, visitors can also immerse themselves in Chengdu with exciting experiences such as watching the Sichuan Opera, visiting the Wuhou Shrine dedicated to Zhuge Liang, and wandering through the ancient streets of Cam Ly.
