Despite this, the phone can provide sufficient usage time of about 6-9 hours in a day. However, if you want to increase your S21 experience time, you can follow some measures below.
1. Utilize the screen adjustment feature
The screen consumes a significant amount of battery power when in use. The Samsung Galaxy S21 features a 6.2-inch display with a screen refresh rate of up to 120Hz, which can drain the battery quickly. To improve usage time, users should adjust the screen resolution and refresh rate.
On the S21, Samsung has equipped it with a screen compatibility feature that automatically adjusts the refresh rate from 48Hz to 120Hz depending on the displayed content. You can choose to use 120Hz for the best screen experience, but if you want longer battery life, switch from the Compatible screen mode to the Standard mode.
To simplify, go to Settings > Display > Motion smoothness and choose Standard mode.
