Activate Camera Settings Preservation feature
Typically, right after closing the app, all your settings will revert to default mode. It can be quite inconvenient having to set everything up from scratch every time you take a photo. When capturing on iPhone 12, if you don't want your manual adjustments to vanish, you can turn on the Camera Settings Preservation feature.

For images capturing moving subjects, we can capture incredibly artistic moments thanks to the live mode on the Camera app.
Utilize direct filters when taking photos
In some cases, you may not have time to edit your photos, so take advantage of the filters integrated into the Camera app by Apple. While these color filters may be overlooked by users, they sometimes work wonders for unexpectedly beautiful images, especially on the lens of the iPhone 12.

From here, slowly move the phone according to the directional arrows on the screen to capture the entire scene you desire.Customize aperture and lighting in Portrait mode
One of the highly acclaimed features on the iPhone 12 camera is the Portrait mode. To maximize the shooting capabilities in this mode, we can manually adjust the aperture and light intensity before capturing. To adjust the lighting, in the Camera app, switch to Portrait mode.
- To customize the aperture, tap on the “f' icon in the upper right corner of the screen. Swipe left or right to change the depth of field for the photo.

In iOS 14, Apple has provided users with an additional option to mirror images taken with the front camera. Now, when taking a selfie photo on iPhone 12, you won't need to waste time flipping the image back. What you see on the screen is how the photo result will be.
