Sometimes, the simplest yet most unique ideas and extraordinary spaces create the defining moments for your big day.
I'm Thu Anh, 25 years old, just got married. This year seems to be full of weddings among my friends. Some even lost weight after the wedding worrying about every detail: from where to have the wedding, what the venue would be like, the food, the guests... Initially, I was quite anxious too, but after going through it, I realized that weddings nowadays aren't as complicated as they used to be in our parents' time. There are plenty of venues right in the city, so the only thing left is how you express your personality on this day.

Nowadays, you don't need to worry too much about your wedding like our parents did.
As our home is located in the Tây Hồ area, we opted for Little Park as our wedding venue. Let me share my own experience for all the young couples who are about to become brides this year.
1. Choose a spacious and convenient venue
Most wedding venues are situated on main roads, making it very convenient for both the groom's and bride's parties. So, you just need to choose a venue according to your preference: whether you want an outdoor or indoor reception. An outdoor reception will provide a romantic atmosphere, perfect for stunning photos and undoubtedly unforgettable. However, if you're concerned about unpredictable weather, you can opt for an indoor venue for peace of mind.

I personally prefer the outdoor space at Little Park

The lush green pathways and the spacious outdoor area with plenty of natural light will create stunning moments.
2. Opt for an open wedding hall
The wedding hall encompasses the entire space of your reception, including where the stage will be located, seating arrangements for guests, lighting, and sound. It's advisable to choose an open space, which could be indoors but should be airy, and ideally, with as much natural light as possible. A crowded wedding, cramped quarters can make both guests and your own family uncomfortable.

I absolutely adore the bright ambiance of the entire open wedding hall at Little Park
3. Menu Selection
There's no need to be overly elaborate. While older guests may appreciate a meticulously curated menu, you don't need to go overboard. Ensure there's a variety of dishes, avoid items that may not be suitable for the season (like during a flu outbreak, steer clear of chicken and poultry dishes), limit greasy, fried, stir-fried, and grilled dishes. Opt for popular, easy-to-eat dishes that cater to many people. Typically, restaurants offer preset menus, so you just need to make a selection. Let the restaurant know the proportion or preferences of your guests, and they'll advise on the most suitable menu.

The menu at Little Park's receptions often includes a combination of fresh vegetables, seafood, chicken, and fish.

The majority of our guests were quite pleased with the meal.
4. Entrance Gate and Guest Parking
The entrance gate at Little Park is quite spacious, airy, and beautiful, making it a popular spot for guests to take photos with the bride and groom. Additionally, the restaurant's parking lot is also quite large, with enough space for both cars and motorcycles, and guests don't have to walk too far.

5. Service Staff
The service staff at Little Park is quite numerous and always on standby to serve guests. Overall, I have no complaints. However, many of my friends have shared experiences from other places where service staff seem to be nowhere to be found when guests arrive. They only appear at the beginning and end of the event, so when assistance is needed, even family members don't know where to find them.
Music plays a significant role in the entire wedding program, so Little Park has a dedicated audio and lighting department right next to the stage.
6. Don't Forget Your Unique Style
If you've booked your wedding reception at a restaurant, then all the preparations are likely taken care of by professionals. Come up with interesting, personality-fitting ideas for the organization, and then simply rely on the organizers to bring them to life.
7. Don't Hesitate
Choosing the wedding dress and floral arrangements should be your first priorities. If you want to leave a lasting impression, you can coordinate the wedding flowers and backdrop with the color of the wedding dress. In general, don't wait until the last minute to choose your wedding gown. If you're too busy and don't have time to choose, just let the wedding organizers assist you.
8. No Need for Dieting
Many of my friends are fixated on the image of a slim bride in a beautiful wedding dress, but in reality, on your wedding day, you'll mostly be busy chatting with guests, smiling, and taking photos rather than eating. So, to maintain your stamina and keep smiling until the end, just eat normally. Don't exhaust yourself or end up needing medical attention.
Pledge:
With numerous wedding planning agencies available today, you no longer need to worry too much about your wedding like your parents or grandparents did. Just eat well, stay healthy, plan ahead, and rely on a professional event organizer to prepare everything from A to Z. By the way, for those of you in the Tây Hồ area, you can choose Little Park for its proximity and professionalism.
