European travel has always been a dream for everyone. So, how can you wander around this magical land without worrying about the 'traveler's tummy'?

1. Plan ahead
Finding budget airline tickets to Europe is not impossible. Regularly check the websites of low-cost carriers such as Tiger Airway or Russian airlines and seize the opportunity quickly. You can have round-trip tickets to European countries for as low as 700 euros, so act fast.

2. Craft a clear and specific itinerary
For instance, if you're traveling in Italy, a country with numerous places to visit and admire, the first thing to do is to figure out how long you'll be there. If time is limited, choose the main destinations for your itinerary, such as the North-South route: Milan – Venice – Pisa – Rome.

If you were a time billionaire, you could explore renowned places like Verona – the city of Romeo and Juliet or the port city of Naples.
3. Pre-book train/bus tickets
Don't let yourself be at the mercy of public transportation. Just imagine arriving at the airport, and the cheap ticket has already been 'snatched up,' leaving you in a situation where you have to buy an Eurostar train ticket at a sky-high price.

4. Pack dry snacks
Sandwiches, sausages, water. Do you think you won't save much? Well, what if a dry meal costs only 2 – 3 euros, while a fancy restaurant meal could set you back 7 – 10 euros, excluding drinks?

5. Purchase daily passes for city buses
Traveling within a city means you'll be hopping on and off buses or metros frequently. Don't waste money swiping 1 euro for each ride when you can buy an 8 euro ticket for 10 rides, with each journey valid for 70 minutes.
6. Familiarize yourself with travel information beforehand
Gift yourself a Lonely Planet book, or at least research online about the land you're about to traverse: where to buy tickets, where to get a phone card, supermarkets, and especially must-visit landmarks in this city, along with any promotions (if any). You'll feel much more in control when visiting an unfamiliar city.

7. Don't be overly drawn to cute souvenirs
This doesn't mean you shouldn't get something to remember the places you've been. Just think carefully before deciding to buy something, and consider whether your suitcase or backpack still has room for one more item.
8. Walk a lot
In this way, you not only save a considerable amount on transportation but also benefit your health, all while enjoying numerous beautiful scenes.
