During the summer, as the weather turns hot and sunny, children often suffer from diaper rash and itching. While this condition doesn't pose a danger to children, it can cause discomfort, itching, and may lead to skin infections. The cause of diaper rash in children is the hot weather, which causes the blood vessels on the child's skin to dilate, creating conditions for bacteria to invade and cause skin inflammation, commonly known as diaper rash. Another contributing factor is excessive sweating, which can lead to clogged pores and hinder the skin's excretion function, resulting in skin inflammation and itching.
Young children have very sensitive and delicate skin, so inflamed spots or diaper rash will spread in patches and concentrate mostly in areas such as the forehead, neck, behind the ears, back, and chest... Below are some traditional remedies that are very effective in treating diaper rash, which mothers can refer to.

Bathe continuously for 3-5 days.

Or 30g fresh wood sorrel leaves, wash thoroughly, steep with 500ml of water until 200ml remains, divide into 2 doses to drink morning and evening; continuously for 3-5 days.
Note:
- In addition to the above methods, mothers can also supplement their baby's diet with cool drinks such as arrowroot powder, mung bean water, black bean water.. or fruits containing a lot of vitamin C to cool the body.
- When boiling water for the baby's bath, mothers need to clean the leaves thoroughly and boil them well.
- Avoid bathing the baby with shower gel.
- If the baby's diaper rash or itching does not improve, mothers should take the baby to see a dermatologist.
