Female streamer left stunned after a 'pleading for sympathy' incident.
The streamer known as Madison, goes by the name Jigglypuff on Twitch. Being a regular social media user, upon reading a heartfelt post from a male account, Jigglypuff left a comment expressing sympathy for his situation. Specifically, the post shared: 'My girlfriend feels disgusted when she sees me cry because she knows her childhood friend is dying of cancer at the age of 21'. The renowned streamer responded: 'That's terrible, I'm truly sorry that happened'.
Assumed to be harmless encouragement, the female lead was criticized by some anti-commenters who claimed she only responded to the man to promote her OnlyF*** account. In reality, she doesn't have an account on that adult content platform.

Sharing the shocking ordeal she encountered, the Twitch streamer posted screenshots of the negative comments she received. She expressed frustration: 'Just being kind to a stranger online and this is the reaction I get'. This controversy-filled tweet chain subsequently attracted over 6 million views.
Despite many defending the female lead, pointing out that Jigglypuff doesn't have that sensitive account and criticizing the negative part, baseless attacks continue. This incident not only harms Jigglypuff personally but also reflects a culture of strong prejudice and discrimination on social media, where people rush to judge and attack blindly without knowing the truth.
Despite feeling frustrated and annoyed, the female streamer simply sighs and brushes it off, viewing it as one of the pressures that female streamers have to face in their profession.
