The former headquarters of the iconic White Star Line, intimately connected with the legendary Titanic, will soon transform into a luxurious hotel, adorned with similar decor as the famed ship.
Real estate firm Signature Living is investing £7 million to refurbish the building, constructed in 1896 and untouched for over a decade on James Street, Liverpool, UK. The 11-story hotel will feature 65 rooms accommodating up to 310 guests.

The hotel is expected to open later this year, providing visitors with a reminiscent experience of the White Star Line era and the time of the Titanic's construction.

Room rates will range from £99 to £350 per night. Many rooms will be named after historical or fictional characters associated with the ill-fated ship, including key figures like Jack Dawson, Rose DeWitt Bukater, heroic officer Charles Lightoller, music conductor Wallace Hartley, and filmmaker James Cameron.
A variety of names, such as the two main characters Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, the heroic officer Charles Lightoller, the music conductor Wallace Hartley, and the director James Cameron, will be used to label the rooms instead of numerical designations, setting it apart from other hotels.

Visitors here will gain deeper insights into the history of this building by using their phones to scan the quick response (QR) codes strategically placed around the hotel.
A character will appear on-screen to elaborate on the persona of a special individual, such as the unsinkable Molly Brown, a wealthy passenger unafraid of rough seas, rowing one of the rescue boats, and the American entrepreneur Benjamin Guggenheim.

The bar and restaurant are two expansive balconies surrounding the building, providing guests with breathtaking views of Liverpool.
The initial phase of the hotel, including the bar counter, Carpathia restaurant, and two hotel floors, is set to debut in April this year, with the remainder slated for completion in September.
