The resting area for Lazada Run participants in Singapore offers a spectacular view, revealing the famous landmarks of the lion island.
Event organizers typically establish an expo area to gather athletes before and after the race, creating a hub of energy and excitement.
The expo area is strategically located at the finish line, often doubling as the starting point. It's a place to rejuvenate, connect with fellow runners, and even bring along your family for a delightful experience.
I find myself at Lazada Run's expo in Singapore, set to kick off on Sunday, 23rd July. This expo spot sits at the prime location of Marina Barrage in Singapore. Here, you can relish the cool sea breeze and catch a mesmerizing sunset in the evening.
The distant expo area up there:
At this spot, people can enjoy the breathtaking views of iconic landmarks in Singapore such as Marina Bay, Garden by The Bay, Marina Bay Sands skyscraper, the Singapore Flyer, and more. The expo area is currently in the preparation phase for the upcoming runner's event scheduled for the next day, still a work in progress. Once completed, booths will offer a variety of items including food, nutrition, running gear, and even massage services. This is also a favored location for Singaporeans to retreat and unwind, providing a peaceful haven for relaxation.I've participated in various running events in Vietnam, and none of the expo areas have been as relaxing as this one. If I were to compare, the finish line of the Vietnam Mountain Marathon in Sapa might be enough to rival a chill zone like this in Singapore. (I, @cuhiep, and a few other mods will also be joining the Vietnam Mountain Marathon in September). From here, everyone can get a glimpse of Singapore's famous landmarks. To reach this area, you have to cross a gracefully arched bridge. Once up there, you'll be greeted by a refreshing sea breeze.

The Vietnamese sports delegation, victorious in the Lazada Run in Vietnam, is now set to compete alongside runners from 6 Southeast Asian countries in Singapore.
Seizing the opportunity, I also managed to snap a check-in photo. On July 23rd, I'll be running a half marathon, and I'll be sharing some insights with you all.
