Currently, several major foreign websites are still experiencing a massive outage, and the cause remains unknown. When accessing, the common characteristics of these websites are either inaccessibility or interface errors.
Update: Currently, some websites have revived, such as Amazon, Paypal. After a few minutes, several websites have also resolved this issue. According to Cnet, the reported cause is a malfunction in the Fastly CDN (content delivery network) service.
These websites are currently utilizing Fastly's CDN. Due to Fastly experiencing issues, the websites are either inaccessible or partially accessible.
Fastly has also provided an update, stating that they have identified and resolved the issue. Currently, Fastly has not immediately responded to inquiries regarding this problem.
The cause is not necessarily due to the slow loading on my network in Vietnam, as The Verge's Twitter page has independently reported the status of their website outage.
The Verge's Twitter account automatically updated and announced that their website is experiencing issues. They are attempting to provide updates via Twitter and through a Google Docs link.
However, the amusing part is that before this, an editor forgot to disable the editing feature for this file. This led to numerous people simultaneously editing the file, updating news about The Verge's widespread website outage 😁
