The recently released Chapter 144 of Chainsaw Man manga has caused a stir on social media due to some intriguing details.
Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are among the current renowned manga series, each boasting over 50 million copies sold. The authors of both series are known for drawing inspiration from each other, a theme once again evident in the recent chapter of Chainsaw Man.
In Chapter 144 of Chainsaw Man, numerous characters from the first part of the series make a return, some resurrected by the hands of the grim reaper. Among them, one character has captured everyone's attention—a demon that has taken control of a body as its last resort for survival.

Interestingly, this demon brings to mind a character from Jujutsu Kaisen—Nobara Kugisaki. Not only do they share a resemblance in appearance, but also in the weapons they wield.
Nobara was last seen in Chapter 124 of Jujutsu Kaisen, where she presumably met her demise. However, the author has never explicitly confirmed this, and Nobara has been absent from the manga since then.
Seemingly, the author Fujimoto-sensei of Chainsaw Man grew weary of waiting for Nobara's fate and decided to introduce a character resembling Nobara in Chainsaw Man.
Here are the similarities between Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen and the new demon in Chainsaw Man:
1) Injuries to the eye and head
In Chapter 124 of the Shibuya Incident in Jujutsu Kaisen, Nobara suffered defeat at the hands of Mahito, resulting in the loss of an eye and a severe head injury. Since that chapter, she has not been mentioned in the story, despite Jujutsu Kaisen's manga surpassing 200 chapters.

Now, the new demon in Chainsaw Man shares the characteristic of having lost an eye and having a head injury.
2) Weapon of choice: spikes and hammer
Nobara Kugisaki is a sorcerer in Jujutsu Kaisen, utilizing her techniques with the assistance of a hammer and nails.
The new demon in Chainsaw Man, introduced in chapter 124, also wields similar tools in its weapons arsenal. Some spikes are embedded in the demon's head, and it smashes through enemies with the assistance of hammers in each hand.

Clearly, the inspiration for the demon in Chainsaw Man is drawn from Nobara in Jujutsu Kaisen. The attire of these two characters also bears some resemblance.
Upon the release of the latest chapter of Chainsaw Man, fans immediately noticed the resemblance between these two characters. A Twitter user even pointed out that the author of Chainsaw Man had previously sketched an illustration of Nobara, indicating that she may have been a favorite character of Fujimoto.
