Vietnam is currently developing an impressive RPG game.
Closing out 2021, it was a memorable year for the Vietnamese gaming industry, witnessing the release of numerous 100% Vietnamese-made masterpieces. Notable titles include 'Hoa,' a purely Vietnamese game available on both Nintendo Switch and Steam, followed by 'Thần Trùng,' a horror game developed by Dũng CT and DUT Studio, along with 'The Scourge' and 'Blood Field.' However, the most anticipated project was Hiker Games' '300475,' a game that vividly portrays the struggles and heroism of the Vietnamese People's Army during the Vietnam War for national liberation and reunification.
Entering the tumultuous year of 2022, following the remarkable year of 2021, promising new Vietnamese games have emerged not only from large and small studios but also from passionate gamers in Vietnam itself. Just recently, another promising RPG titled 'Realms Ethernity' developed by the Vietnamese game studio Wild Thunder has appeared.
Shared within the '7 Days of Gaming' group, after the official release of the first teaser trailer for Hiker Games' project '300475' on February 23, the Vietnamese gaming community has been abuzz with discussions. Ng Duc, the head of the Wild Thunder development team, shared the first trailer of Realms Ethernity.
Realms Ethernity is an open-world RPG that allows players to embark on an adventure as explorers in a new land. To add more excitement and innovation to Realms Ethernity, Wild Thunder revealed that NFT elements will also be integrated into the game. Currently, Realms Ethernity is in its early stages of development, but it is one of the most promising Vietnamese game projects today.
Shared within the '7 Days of Gaming' group, Realms Ethernity quickly garnered attention and support from members, with many eagerly anticipating a Vietnamese-developed RPG. Other gamers also provided feedback to the Wild Thunder development team to further refine Realms Ethernity in the near future.
