II. Model Essay on Social Discourse about Irresponsibility (Standard)
Each and every one of us is born and exists in this world as a stroke of luck, although each person's life is entirely different, we all share one responsibility, and that is the responsibility to our own lives. Life belongs to oneself, and one must take responsibility rather than delegate it to others, otherwise, living irresponsibly towards one's own life is truly not worth living, because irresponsibility not only has consequences for the individual but also for those around and the entire society.
'Irresponsibility' is simply the absence of responsibility, the habit of irresponsibility in individuals is irresponsibility towards oneself at a personal level, followed by irresponsibility towards loved ones, friends, and everyone around, and finally, irresponsibility towards the society in which one exists. Irresponsible individuals will not take responsibility for anything in life, including work and activities, they always push responsibility onto others, evade and rely on others, or if they do take on responsibilities, they handle them impulsively, superficially, without truly caring about their responsibilities. The signs of irresponsibility in life are easy to recognize, this bad habit grows like weeds, spreading quickly and can exist anywhere, with any person and circumstance if conditions allow them to thrive and flourish.
An irresponsible person will not care about themselves in any aspect of daily life or work. They disregard their own health, ignore any illness or danger signs, do not seek medical attention or check their physical health. They lack awareness to take care of themselves, neglect their work, and instead, do everything haphazardly, reluctantly, with an indifferent attitude, with the mindset of 'whatever happens, happens'. Towards those around them, irresponsible individuals can be indifferent to their own family members, parents are the ones who gave birth to them, but when they are sick, the children push the responsibility of taking care of them to each other, no one takes care of the parents, everyone finds excuses to avoid their responsibilities.
The responsibility of friends to each other is always to help and encourage each other to rise up, but for irresponsible people, they are indifferent to the difficulties of friends, they do not care or think that they have the responsibility to encourage and comfort others in their pain. Regarding community and societal issues, irresponsible individuals seem indifferent, not paying attention or separating themselves from collective activities. Or if they do participate in common tasks and problems arise, they will deny, refuse to admit mistakes, deliberately shift blame to others. Indeed, a person with a habit of irresponsibility brings about negativity, decline in all aspects. Not only do they lose moral values and degrade their own personalities, but they also greatly affect those around them. Living and working with irresponsible people means having to take responsibility and bear the consequences for them, resulting in the irresponsible person gradually losing good relationships with others, being criticized, and alienated. Irresponsibility in any profession also hampers productivity and the quality of work, hindering the overall development of society.
Irresponsibility is a bad habit that everyone must eradicate and stay away from. Each individual must have a clear understanding of the manifestations and consequences of irresponsibility, and must continuously prioritize their responsibility to life. For all issues related to oneself, we must emphasize our responsibility, living responsibly is living meaningfully.
To join hands in building a better life, each of us needs to take responsibility for ourselves, our families, and society. Irresponsibility is like an invisible acid corroding life.
