While these costumes provide visually appealing effects for viewers, they are practically useless in reality.
Lara Croft (Angelina Jolie) - Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

Adapted from the popular video game series featuring archaeologist Lara Croft, the film Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, starring the iconic Angelina Jolie, became a sensation upon its release in 2001. As a result, Lara's image has always been associated with this actress.
In order to showcase Angie's stunning beauty, the filmmakers dressed her in blatantly inappropriate attire for jungle exploration, such as tight tank tops and short shorts. However, the production team can't be entirely blamed, as the character Lara also wears similar outfits in the game, and even the smallest change could upset die-hard fans.
Barb Wire (Pamela Anderson) - Barb Wire

Ranked among the worst movies in history, critics have numerous reasons to criticize Barb Wire. The film boasts a ridiculous plot, dull performances from the cast, and atrocious soundtrack. Additionally, the main character Pamela Anderson's costume is also a reason for critics to mock this film.
Portraying a mercenary cum bounty hunter caught in a sinister conspiracy, one would expect her to wear conservative and bulletproof attire to combat all dangers. However, to flaunt her sultry appearance, Pamela appeared in a corset as tight as it can get, wearing super tight leather pants and high heels. With this outfit, she resembles a lingerie model auditioning for a lingerie contest rather than a mercenary
Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) - The Avengers

In The Avengers, actor Jeremy Renner plays Hawkeye aka Clint Barton. Dubbed as the 'God of Marksmanship' of the group, Hawkeye has the ability to shoot 'hundreds of arrows' and is an outstanding agent of SHIELDS, contributing to defeating Loki and his minions.
While viewers don't criticize Jeremy's performance in this role, many may feel a bit 'uncomfortable' with his somewhat impractical costume. While other members of The Avengers (except Hulk) wear tight-fitting outfits to protect themselves in battle, Hawkeye wears a sleeveless top and tight pants. In a scenario filled with criminals, robots, and scenes of destruction, a more covered outfit would surely protect him better.
Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) - Jurassic World

As a reboot of the once-famous Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World unexpectedly stormed the box office for a long time, achieving record-breaking revenue of up to 1.67 billion USD.
However, despite its grandeur, the film still couldn't avoid some unworthy flaws. And perhaps the biggest flaw is the scene where park manager Claire races with a terrifying T-rex behind her, but she's wearing... high heels (and still alive). This is quite unrealistic, as high heels can significantly reduce running speed, and even cause stumbling and falling during movement.
Therefore, during the promotion for the sequel, Jurassic World 2, director J.A. Bayona affirmed that 'in this installment, Claire won't be wearing high heels anymore.'
James Bond - James Bond series

If asked who the most famous spy on screen is, the answer is undoubtedly James Bond. With 26 films over 49 years, the image of the dashing British spy in elegant suits, accompanied by state-of-the-art gadgets and beautiful women everywhere, has left a mark on many. But this image has made the character somewhat unrealistic.
Being a spy who often has to go into the field and fight formidable enemies, stretchable and highly flexible suits would be the ideal choice for Bond. However, every time he appears on screen, the audience sees him in a meticulously tailored three-piece suit that is somewhat stuffy and difficult to move in. Although fashion is a defining factor for the character James Bond, if he wants a more practical outfit for combat, James could look to his colleagues Ethan Hunt or Jason Bourne in the Mission Impossible and Jason Bourne series.
Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) - The Fifth Element

As one of the most iconic films of the 90s, The Fifth Element elevated the directorial prowess of Luc Besson and the stellar cast including Gary Oldman, Milla Jovovich, and Bruce Willis to new heights. Many costumes from the film became part of popular culture, including the outfit worn by the character Leeloo portrayed by Milla Jovovich.
In her breakout role, Milla portrayed an extraterrestrial named Leeloo who comes to Earth to save humanity. Beyond her striking appearance, Leeloo caused a sensation with her outfit named 'ACE - Bandage,' made from medical bandages. Despite its visually stunning and iconic nature, it cannot be denied that this outfit appears rather impractical and is more suited for models than a character who has to move from place to place like Leeloo.
Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) - Suicide Squad

Upon her debut in Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn impressed with her combat skills rivaling those of her male counterparts. Additionally, Harley Quinn's appearance and costume always exude eccentricity, vibrancy, and madness. At this point, the Joker's paramour sports a ripped tank top, short shorts, fishnet stockings, and often wears high heels.
While this attire has garnered a large fan following, Margot Robbie, the actress behind Harley, doesn't fancy it much as it exposes too much skin. Furthermore, in the role of a warrior, wearing overly revealing clothing and heels seems impractical for combat.
