A Simple Guide to Easily Recovering All Zalo Messages
Message recovery is a highly valued feature applied across most current chat apps. It allows you to retrieve important conversations in case you switch to another device.
For Mobile Devices
In this article, Mytour Superstore will guide you through the process, whether you have an iPhone or any other smartphone, the steps are similar.
Step 1: Open the Zalo app on your phone.
Step 2: Tap the Add button (3-dot icon) at the bottom right of the app.
Step 3: Select Settings (gear icon) at the top right of the app.
Step 4: Select the Messages section.
Step 5: Under the Advanced section, choose Backup and Restore.
Step 6: Select Backup. However, at this step, you can also choose Automatic Backup or schedule backups for Zalo to automatically store and restore your messages more efficiently.
Step 7: Choose Restore Messages.
Step 8: Continue selecting Restore Messages and wait for the phone to complete processing.
For Computers
A notable difference with phones is that the Zalo app on a computer automatically stores all your conversation details, from messages to images and videos. However, in some cases where your messages may encounter mishaps, you can manually back up and restore following these steps.
Step 1: You access the following path C:\Users\your_username\AppData\Local\ZaloPC
In this scenario, the user name refers to the computer user that you set up, for instance, as shown in the image below, the name is Admin.
Step 2: In the ZaloPC directory, you will find a folder named with a collection of numbers (for example, in the image, it is named 1558577427250192434). This folder contains all the data of your Zalo account used on the computer, including images, avatars, information about chat partners, sent files, message content, etc.
To store the necessary information, you just need to copy the entire folder to drive D, E, ... not drive C. When you need to restore it, just copy that file back to the ZaloPC folder, and you're done.
With simple steps like the ones above, you can both back up data and restore all information about your Zalo conversations on the iPhone 15 512GB on both your phone and computer. Best of luck to all of you!
