II. Sample Essay: Describing My Younger Sister
1. Description of my younger sister, Sample 1:
In our family of four, there are my parents, myself, and my younger sister. Among us, Minh Trang, is the little member cherished and nurtured by both me and our family.
When I started first grade, my mother gave birth to Minh Trang. The little sister, who was once tiny and fragile, now at two years old, radiates with adorableness. Minh Trang possesses fair, rosy skin, cheeks as plump as two little steamed buns. Her hair, soft and silky, frames Minh Trang's cherubic face. In the scorching heat of summer, my mother ties two tiny braids for Minh Trang, making her even more charming.
In our family with only two siblings, I deeply cherish Minh Trang. Every day, I assist my mother in taking care of her, playing with her while our mother prepares meals and tends to household chores. Minh Trang is an extremely well-behaved and adorable little girl. When she was younger, she never troubled our mother except when she was hungry. Now, at two years old, she's starting to walk, call out to our mother, father, and elder sister. Since Minh Trang came into our lives, our family has been filled with joy and laughter. At home, she always follows me around like a little shadow. When I'm studying, she quietly sits beside me, coloring without causing any disturbance, allowing me to focus on my studies.
I adore Minh Trang dearly. After exhausting hours of study, just seeing her lovely smile makes me forget all tiredness. Together with our parents, we will always love and care for our little, adorable sister.

2. Short essay Describing My Younger Sister, Sample 2:
On December 25th, our family was filled with joy and happiness as we welcomed a new member. She is my adorable little sister - Quynh Phuong.
The moment I first saw my sister in my father's arms, I was overjoyed. Our family had gained a new member, and I would now be a big sister. Everything felt so fresh and new, but at that moment, I silently promised to always love, care for, and nurture Quynh Phuong. My little sister has big, round, dark eyes like my mother, a high nose and fair skin like my father. Her tiny, pink hands are my favorite; I love holding them and chatting with Quynh Phuong. Though she's still small and doesn't speak yet, her adorable dark eyes always pay close attention when people talk, her small lips purse gently, occasionally breaking into the most adorable smile. Quynh Phuong is very well-behaved; she rarely cries or troubles our mother. After she eats, she falls asleep peacefully, never causing our mother any fatigue.
When Quynh Phuong was born, she was so small that I was afraid to hold her, fearing I might hurt her clumsily. But now, I'm very proficient at holding and playing with her. I'll try even harder to be a good older sister. When Quynh Phuong grows up, I'll take her out to play, read her stories, and teach her.
I adore Quynh Phuong dearly. I'll always love and care for my little sister.
3. Description of my sister, Sample 3:
Quynh Anh is not only my dearest sister but also a close friend with whom I can share all joys and sorrows in both study and life. Quynh Anh is my twin sister, so we are the same age and attend the same 5A class at Ly Thuong Kiet Elementary School.
Like many families with two sisters, Quynh Anh and I used to argue and compete for toys or our parents' attention and affection. However, as we grew older, we learned to compromise, love, and support each other more. Being twins, Quynh Anh and I share many similarities. She has big, round, dark eyes like our mother, while I have small, brown eyes like our father. Quynh Anh has fair skin and long, silky hair always neatly tied up, looking incredibly adorable. She's slightly shorter than me. Since we are in the same class, we are not only close sisters at home but also close friends at school. Quynh Anh often helps me with English because I'm not good at it, while I assist her with Art because she doesn't know how to organize or color beautifully. At home, we sometimes still argue like children, but we have learned to think more maturely. We often help our parents with household chores such as sweeping, picking vegetables, etc. We also remind each other to study without letting our parents worry.
I love Quynh Anh dearly. Although we are the same age, she will always be my little sister whom I will always love and care for. Currently, I don't know how to express love or be a truly good sister, but I will strive to improve myself to become a good sister to Quynh Anh.
