During October, a corner of Kinchakuda Park in Japan bursts with the crimson hues of spider lilies.
Exploring Japan's Kinchakuda Park adorned with a sea of red spider lilies
The spider lily, a herbaceous plant, stands about 40-100 cm tall in clusters. It comes in three main colors: red, white, and yellow, with red being the most common. The vivid red flowers resemble blood, with long stems reaching from the ground, forming clusters of 5 to 7 blossoms that open in all directions, resembling a dancing peacock, with no leaves when in bloom. Spider lilies bloom in spring and fall.
