Due to their immense love for the fictional character Doraemon, the wedding of the 90s-born couple from Bạc Liêu left everyone astonished with its collection of images featuring this iconic robotic cat.
A wedding is a momentous day in one's life, so the bride and groom often focus on creating the most unique impressions. Recently, social media shared a series of incredibly unique wedding photos of a couple from Bạc Liêu. This wedding would be unremarkable if it weren't overflowing with the color blue and images of the animated robot cat Doraemon.
Every corner of the wedding venue, from the stage, wedding flowers, wedding invitations to the bride and groom's attire, was adorned with Doraemon images. The bride prepared up to 5 wedding dresses, all featuring the iconic imagery of this legendary robotic cat.
The Doraemon-themed wedding, immersed in a comic book atmosphere, received numerous praises from everyone. Everyone felt excited and joyful attending this wedding. Many wondered how much the bride loved this cartoon character to turn her wedding into such an extensive collection.
It is known that the two main characters in the wedding are Khánh Lam (born in 1993), currently running a family business in Bạc Liêu, and the groom Xuân Khánh (born in 1992, originally from Ho Chi Minh City), who is also establishing his career in his wife's hometown.
Sharing with Infonet, Khánh Lam revealed that the couple's affinity began within a sneaker enthusiasts group: “Our connection started with our love for sneakers, then we discovered many more coincidences, and our feelings grew from there.
Coming from a family business of bookstores and office supplies, I've been exposed to comics, novels, and various genres since childhood. And my one true love is the Doraemon series.
I was fortunate to grow up in a relatively open-minded family environment. While adults were strict about manners and etiquette, the lifestyle was quite laid-back.
The parental philosophy in my family is: 'As long as the children are well-mannered and stay away from vice... indulging in cartoon style, no matter how playful, is just a 'mosquito' issue.
Originally, Khánh Lam and Xuân Khánh's wedding was planned for July 2021, but due to the pandemic, it had to be postponed. Previously, the couple had also caused a stir on social media with their Doraemon-themed engagement ceremony.
Khánh Lam further shared that both families supported her choice of Doraemon imagery for the wedding. Khánh Lam's in-laws are also very understanding and open-minded. They support their children in doing whatever they want, as long as it doesn't go against traditional values.
