From Hanoi, head towards Thang Long Bridge in the direction of Bac Thang Long Noi Bai (the road to Noi Bai Airport), travel about 25km to the intersection of National Highway 2, AH 14, and Bac Thang Long Noi Bai. Turn left onto National Highway 2 for about 500m, then continue on the Hanoi - Lao Cai expressway for another 25km. At the roundabout in Tam Duong commune, Vinh Phu, turn left onto National Highway 2B and travel approximately 20km to reach the central area of Tam Dao tourist destination.
Please note that the last 13km of the journey from the foot of the mountain to the summit is on narrow roads with many sharp Z-shaped turns and steep slopes. If you are riding a motorbike, exercise extreme caution and it is advisable not to use a scooter.
