Image search is no longer something distant. When using a computer, you can drag and drop an image into the Google search tool; or for the Android version of Chrome, you can press and hold the image for a while to access this image search option on Google.

However, searching for an image this way will have certain limitations because it only simply searches for copies of the same image. Now, with the power of Google Lens applied to the Chrome version on Android, users can search for images in more advanced ways.
So, what's the difference here? Using Google Lens means the image you're searching for will be analyzed in detail, helping you find similar images, not just exact copies. This is an extremely convenient feature if you're browsing the web and come across an image you love.
But perhaps you'll have to pay a pretty high price for this image, so why not use Google Lens to find a similar one? This is also the best way to get better new ideas.
The greatest thing about Google Lens is that you don't need to use the entire image as a search basis. You can crop out specific elements you're interested in to narrow down search results. And, as Android Police pointed out, you don't need to install the Google Lens app.
Activate Google Lens Search
Google Lens search on Android isn't activated by default. So, if you're intrigued by the idea of browsing the web with images, follow the steps below:
1. Go to chrome://flags
2. Search for #context-menu-search-with-google-lens
3. Go to settings and select 'Enabled '
4. Restart Chrome by clicking on 'Relaunch '
Now, when you click on an image, a context menu will appear with a new option - search with Google Lens. Although this option has replaced the regular Google image search option, you can still perform this action by clicking on the image search option or revert to the classic mode at the top of the results list.
