Playing Music on Windows Media Player while Screen is Off

Step 1: Click on the Tools option > Options…
Step 2: In the Options dialog box, click on the Player tab
Step 3: Check the box next to Allow screen saver during playback.
Press Apply >OK to finalize all changes.
Note that: The screen will automatically turn off to save battery for the device after a certain period set by the user. You can reactivate the screen by touching the keyboard or mouse.
Depending on whether you're watching mp4 movies or listening to music, you should consider enabling the Screen Saver because after a default period of screen off, it will affect your movie-watching experience.
