When working on a computer, users can simply hover over an application tab on the Windows Taskbar without any additional action, and a small window will appear containing a thumbnail of the content that the application tab is currently open. This is the handy preview feature on computers using the Windows operating system, and now, Google has updated this interesting feature in the latest Chrome version. Users just need to enable the Tab Preview feature on Google Chrome to start using it.

How to Activate Tab Preview Feature on Google Chrome
Currently, Tab Preview is applicable for both regular and incognito modes on Chrome. The feature is currently hidden, so to use it, users just need to follow a few steps below to activate it.
Step 1: Firstly, you need to download Chrome to upgrade to the latest version from version 75 onwards. Chrome 77 is now available; you can download Google Chrome 77 directly from here.
Step 2: Next, on the open Chrome interface -> enter chrome://flags in the search bar as described in the image below -> then, press Enter to access the interface of hidden features on Chrome.
Step 3: Upon entering the new interface, type the keyword Tab Hover into the Search flags box -> then press Enter to perform the search.
The search results will display 2 flags: Tab Hover Cards and Tab Hover Card Images as depicted in the image below.
Step 4: Take note that these 2 flags are currently set to default, so users need to switch to Enabled mode to activate the Tab Preview feature on the Chrome browser. Choose Enabled as described in the image below:
After selecting, click Relaunch Now to restart the Chrome browser and apply the chosen settings to the browser.
Step 5: After restarting Chrome, proceed to access websites as usual. Then, hover over another tab of any webpage to witness the display of thumbnail images, as described in the image below.
For browsing in incognito mode, the Tab Preview feature is equally effective as when you access the web in the regular way.
If you wish to revert to the old tab interface -> repeat the same steps as above to turn off the Tab Preview feature and hide the preview window -> simply switch the 2 flags mentioned above to Disabled or Default to successfully turn it off.
Activating the Tab Preview feature on the new version of Google Chrome, as explained above, allows you to quickly preview the content of a website without necessarily having to access it directly as usual. In other words, when you are on a specific tab, simply hover the mouse over another tab, and immediately the entire shrunken web content of that web browser will be displayed.
Wishing you a successful implementation!
