Data Analysis is a statistical feature in Excel. In Excel 2003, the Analysis tool is pre-installed in the Tools menu. However, in later versions of Microsoft Excel, Analysis is no longer readily available in the menu. To activate this feature, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Microsoft Excel 2007. Click on the Ribbon icon in the top left corner → Excel Options.

Step 2: In the Options dialog box, select the Add-ins tab → Analysis ToolPak → Go

Step 3: Check the box for Analysis ToolPak → OK

Once completed, go to the Data tab on the Ribbon menu, and you will see the Data Analysis tool button appear.
