If you use Google Maps without activating voice guidance for navigation, you're missing out on one of its best features. This feature not only helps you know your destination but also guides you on where to turn, how many left or right turns to take, and notably, it supports Vietnamese voice guidance on both iPhone and Android.

1. Enable Voice Guidance on Google Maps for Android
Step 1: Before enabling voice guidance on Google Maps, you need to change your phone's language to Vietnamese. This is necessary if you want Google Maps to provide directions in Vietnamese. First, go to Settings > General Management > select Language and Keyboard (some devices have this option outside of Settings).
Step 2: Here, select Language and if Vietnamese is not already selected, simply add it.
Step 3: Then, open Google Maps and proceed to enable voice guidance. Here, you'll need to choose your starting and destination points.
Step 4: Afterward, select your mode of transportation and tap Start. Make sure to wear headphones as Google Maps will provide voice instructions.
2. Enable voice guidance on Google Maps on iPhone
Step 1: Similar to Android, to enable voice guidance on Google Maps on iPhone or iPad, firstly we need to switch the device to Vietnamese by going to Settings.
Step 2: Here, you choose General (general settings) > select Language & Region.
Step 3: Here, you continue to select iPhone, iPad language to change the language.
Step 4: If it's not already in Vietnamese, simply switch it to Vietnamese to complete the conversion.
If the system prompts for confirmation, just press Continue to proceed.
Step 5: Here, we click on search for a location to enable voice guidance on Google Maps.
Step 6: Select the destination to get directions on Google Maps.
Step 7: Press directions to have Google Maps start guiding you.
Step 8: Press start and set up your journey with the corresponding mode of transportation.
Finally, enabling voice guidance on Google Maps on iPhone or iPad is completed.
