An effortless guide to manually activating Turbo Boost on your i5 processor.
Steps
Access your PC's BIOS.
Preferences

Navigate to the CPU/processor configuration screen. Depending on your motherboard manufacturer, the BIOS interface may vary. Look for Turbo Boost settings under menus like CPU Specifications, CPU Features, Advanced Core Features, or similar.
- Use the arrow keys to move through the BIOS and hit ↵ Enter to select.
- Press Esc to go back.

Find ″Intel® Turbo Boost Technology″ in the menu. It should be labeled as either ″Enabled″ or ″Disabled.″ If it's already ″Enabled,″ there's no need for further action in the BIOS.

Choose Enabled from the menu.

Apply your changes. Look for the corresponding key at the bottom of the BIOS screen. Typically, it will be F10.

Exit the BIOS and restart your computer. Press Esc and then follow the instructions on the screen to reboot. Once your PC restarts, Turbo Boost will be activated.
