Microsoft Edge browser has seen significant improvements recently. One of them is the notable enhancement in extension support, enabling Edge to offer many new features beyond being just a fast web browser. Although the number of extensions available for installation is still limited, this marks a significant stride for Edge in the race against Chrome and Firefox.
Add Google search button on Edge
The following article will guide you to add another useful feature to the Edge browser, which is the Google Search button. With Chrome, you can easily use the Google Search button by highlighting a keyword, right-clicking, and selecting 'Search with Google Chrome' to explore information about that keyword. Or right-click on an image and search for similar images on Google without needing to open an additional Google tab and type in the search keyword as usual.
Currently, Edge hasn't been equipped with this useful tool yet, but you can easily add the Google Search button to Edge with the following simple steps.
Guide to adding the Google search button on Edge
Edge's default search engine is Bing, but if you're used to using Google for searching, then the Google Search button is the handy tool for you.
You'll need to install an extension to add this button. Before proceeding, you should know how to add extensions not available in the Windows Store on Edge.

This saves you a lot of time when searching for information online, making your web browsing faster and your information retrieval more efficient.
