Adding a Logo to an Image Using Photoshop
Imagine in the image below we need to insert a logo to copyright it. You can also add text if you prefer not to insert an image.
Step 1: First, activate the Actions feature. This feature allows users to repeat one or more actions in a process, automating hundreds or thousands of repetitive tasks, such as batch inserting logos into images using Photoshop.
- To activate it, select Windows > Actions (or press Alt + F9).
Step 2: Immediately, you'll see an Action menu appear on the right. Here, click on the icon below to activate Actions.
Step 3: Name the Actions profile you intend to use, then click Record to start recording the steps in Photoshop.
Step 4: To insert a logo into an image using Actions in Photoshop, after activating Actions, perform the logo insertion steps for any image by double-clicking on that image layer first.
Then press OK to change the name for this Layer.
Step 5: Next, go to File > select Place Linked.
Locate the logo file you want to insert into the image, then click Place.
Step 6: After adding the logo file, hold Ctrl and encircle the entire image and logo to select both objects at once. Now, on the toolbar, you'll see positioning options for the logo; based on your choice, find a precise spot for the logo.

Step 7: After successfully inserting the logo into the image using Photoshop, go to Actions and click Stop to conclude the recording process.
Step 8: Next, click on File > choose Scripts > then select Image Processor.
Step 9: A menu window appears, allowing you to batch insert logos into images using Photoshop.
- The first line is Select the images to process: This is where you choose the folder containing the images you want to watermark.
- The second line is Select location to save Processed images: Choose where to save the images after watermarking.
Step 10: Your only task is to click on Select Folder and choose a folder following the instructions above.
Step 11: After selecting the folder, look down at the Preferences section. Here, choose Run action for the profile you created earlier; in this example, we named it Mytourvn. After selecting, press Run.
After pressing Run, Actions will operate with the repeatable steps you set up earlier.
