Microsoft Outlook is a widely used application in the current Microsoft Office suite. Step 6: After filling in all the information, click on More Settings and select the Outgoing Server tab. Check the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and choose Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
Step 7: Go to the Advanced tab, verify the following parameters, make changes if necessary, and click OK to confirm.
Incoming server (IMAP): 993 or 143
Incoming server encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server (SMTP): 25 or 465
Outgoing server encrypted connection: TLS
Step 8: Next, click Next, and Outlook will proceed to check the setup, sending you an email notification. Once the verification process is complete, click Close.
Step 9: At this point, you'll receive a successful setup notification; click Finish to complete the process of adding Gmail to Outlook.
Step 10: Close Outlook and restart the application; now you can check your emails through Outlook.
