Adding music to your Facebook Story enhances your post with dynamic melodies that complement your shared content. Here is the most detailed way to add music to your Facebook Story.
Facebook currently supports various platforms including Website, IOS, Android... However, only mobile platforms such as IOS and Android can post Stories with music. The Facebook Website platform currently does not support posting Stories with music.
Step 1: Open the Facebook app, select Create Post (1) to add the images/videos you want to include in your Story.
Once you've selected the content to share on your Story, you'll see various expansion tools. Choose the Music (2) option.
Step 2: When the Facebook Story music feature appears, you'll have plenty of options to choose from, such as the following:
- Search: Look for a song or artist by name.
- Preview: Listen to a snippet of the highlighted part of the song.
- Save: Add the song to your saved list, so you can easily access it later by opening the Saved section.
After selecting a song, the song's content/title will appear in the center of your Story. Now, tap on it to start editing its display.
Step 3: In the editing section for displaying music on Facebook Story, we need to pay attention to the following aspects:
- Song Segment: Swipe to adjust the position of the segment you want to insert into your Story.
- Display: Show lyrics, display song title/artist, etc.
- Color: Change the color (only applicable when using Display lyrics)
If you're using the Display lyrics feature, you can change the color of the lyrics content of the song.
Step 4: Next, use two fingers to zoom in/out the displayed content of the music on your Story.
Moreover, you can also rotate and move them to the necessary positions for the most suitable arrangement.
Step 5: Finally, simply press Post to publish the music-inserted Story on Facebook. The process of posting a music-inserted Story on Facebook will take longer as the system needs to process the image/video + music part.
If you want to view the song title inserted on Facebook Story, just tap on the artist's name below the Story uploader's name. Song-related information will appear.
