To streamline access to frequently used applications and software, save time by adding them to the right-click menu on the Desktop, especially when dealing with a cluttered Desktop with numerous icons.
With the following steps, you can effortlessly add software to the Desktop Context Menu.
Step 1: Open the Run dialog (Windows + R), type the keyword regedit, and press OK (or Enter) to open the Registry Editor.

Step 2: In the Registry Editor, locate the path HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Backgrount\shell.

Step 3: Next, right-click on the shell folder, select New, and choose Key to create an additional key with the name of the application you want to add to the right-click menu. This key will display the application name in the Context Menu.

For example, here we use the Skype application.

Step 4: In the newly created folder (Skype), create another new key with the name command (in lowercase). Right-click on Skype, choose New, and select Key.

Step 5: Left-click twice on Default on the right side.

Afterward, input the path to the executable file of the application you want to appear in the Context Menu (here, Skype.exe) into Value data, then press OK.

Congratulations! You can now right-click on the Desktop to see the newly added application in the Menu.

You can add various applications and software to the Desktop Context Menu following the same steps. Wishing you success!
