Facebook Live Stream is a widely used term these days, with online videos attracting viewers in various genres such as sports, gaming, events, and more. Along with that, the interaction of the Live Streamer with the audience through the webcam helps them connect more closely. In a previous Mytour article, we also shared tips for Facebook Live Stream, receiving many positive responses.
Along with the flourishing trend of Live Streaming nowadays, many people have provided feedback and asked how to shrink the webcam corner on the screen or make their image appear smaller on Live Stream. The answer is quite simple if your device has a Camera, and you follow all the steps outlined by Mytour below. Readers, follow along for the instructions.
Adjusting Webcam Position for Facebook Live Video Streaming
In this article, Mytour will utilize the Open BroadCaster software (OBS) for recording and live-streaming videos on Facebook. You should download and install Open Broadcaster on your computer; the installation process is straightforward.
Step 1: On the Open BroadCaster setup screen, select Add >Video Capture Device in the Sources section as shown below:
Step 2: A small dialog box appears; name this field and then press OK
Step 3: The Open BroadCaster software will search and identify all webcam devices on your computer. For example, here, Open BroadCaster detects a webcam named FaceTime HD Camera on my device.
Step 4: In the Video section, you'll set the resolution, often referred to as the frame size for streaming. By default, the webcam will automatically pick the highest possible resolution (here, it's 1280x720), displaying almost fullscreen during the stream. It can be inconvenient when the content to be streamed is covered by the webcam image and presentation during the stream. To change this, check the Custom Resolution box and choose your desired size. After setting, click OK to save the changes.
Step 5: To adjust the webcam position for Live Streaming on Facebook, right-click on the webcam, select Position/Site, and choose the desired position as shown below.
Possible positions you can choose are as follows:
As shown in the image above, to position your webcam in the bottom-right corner of the screen during Facebook live streaming, I choose Move to Right Edge and then repeat by selecting Move to Bottom.
This is the complete guide on adjusting the webcam position for Facebook live streaming that Mytour wants to share with you. We hope this small trick helps you have perfect live streaming sessions that attract a large audience. In addition to live streaming on Facebook through OBS mentioned here, you can also use various other supporting tools. Especially for those who frequently live stream games, the BlueStacks emulator is indispensable. With the release of BlueStacks 3, the leading Android emulator not only allows us to play mobile games on the computer but also facilitates game live streaming. After downloading BlueStacks 3, you can refer to our tutorial on streaming games with BlueStacks on Facebook that we shared earlier. If you encounter any mistakes or difficulties during the process, feel free to provide feedback below for discussion.
Similarly, for LOL (League of Legends) gamers, instead of just streaming the gameplay, you can easily add a webcam to stream LOL, broadcasting your image directly on the screen. Good luck to all of you!
