Admission Plan for National Economics University in 2020
1. Admission methods:
- Selection through 3 forms:
+ Direct admission and priority admission according to the enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
+ Direct admission (combined selection) according to the University's Admission Project, including three categories:
- Candidates participating in the 'Journey to Mount Olympia' weekly competition on Vietnam Television (VTV) and achieving a total score in the 2020 National High School Graduation Exam (NHSGE) of 18 or higher (including priority points).
- Candidates with an international SAT certificate of 1200 or higher, or ACT score of 26 or higher, and achieving a total score in the 2020 NHSGE in any combination eligible for admission of 18 or higher (including priority points).
- Candidates with a valid international English certificate (until June 22, 2020) with IELTS 6.5 or higher, or TOEFL ITP 550 or higher, or TOEFL iBT 90 or higher, and achieving a total score in the 2020 NHSGE in Mathematics and any other subject (excluding English) eligible for admission of 14 or higher (including priority points).
+ Admission based on the 2020 National High School Graduation Exam results: Admission scores by major/program; No score difference between different admission combinations.
* The university will conduct selection immediately after students enroll in the following classes:
- 10 High-Quality classes (50 slots/class): Auditing, Banking, Corporate Finance, International Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, International Economics, Economic Development, Investment Economics.
- 05 Advanced classes taught in English: Accounting (110 slots/02 classes), Finance (110 slots/02 classes), and International Business (55 slots/01 class).
* International Joint Programs awarded by foreign universities (taught in English, separate admissions):
- International Bachelor's Degree IBD@NEU: Business Administration, International Business, Event Management, Banking - Finance with University of Sunderland & University of the West of England, UK;
- Bachelor of Finance Accounting (BIFA) with Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.
- Bachelor of Business Administration linked 2+2 with Dongseo University, South Korea.
- Bachelor of Business Administration linked 2+2 with California State University San Bernardino, USA.
- Integrated Bachelor-Master's Actuarial Science program with University of Lyon 1, France.
