Adobe has finally unveiled its iconic image processing software - Photoshop - on Apple's iPad. The development of this app took nearly a year and a half after the company announced its plans to bring this software to Apple's tablet platform. This app is the complete Photoshop software with many features similar to what users have experienced on PC and Macs, including the Quick Selection tool, Lasso tool, and advanced selection options like feathering.
Adobe Photoshop is now available on iPad with support for PSD, layers, and various other features.
Photoshop for iPad is ready for download on the App Store, bringing features that make it considered the best image and graphics design software globally. Users can enjoy a 30-day trial, after which they need to subscribe for $9.99 per month in the U.S. and 849 rupees for users in India. While the initial release focuses on core synthesis and editing tools, Adobe states that they are considering expanding tools for Brush presets, Masks, refining edges, and intelligent object selection.

The Photoshop app will be compatible with the following iPad models running iPadOS/iOS 13.1 or higher:
- iPad Pro (Wifi, Wifi and cellular)
- iPad Pro (12.9-inch) 2nd generation

- iPad 5th generation
- iPad Mini 4
- iPad Air 2
It will also be compatible with both generations of the Apple Pencil.
It's important to note that this perfect app won't be fully compatible with the iPhone. That's why Adobe recommends users to opt for the lighter version, Photoshop Express, for Apple smartphones. However, it still lacks many essential features for a professional user, including full PSD support, background editing tools, and Brushes.
